Do we have any confirmation what his legal name actually currently is? I hope it's something more dignified like Jasmine and Jazz is just a nickname. Jazz is 19. I watched a few recent-ish clips of him, and he acts much younger than he is. The hormone blockers have been proven to halt mental development, so the way they deal with life is going to be very interesting. I think Jazz and that Nikkie de Jager character are currently among the oldest that have been denied proper puberty by the use of hormone blockers, and both are still very young. I keep saying it, I hope Jazz doesn't hurt himself, and I hope he finds someone to be a lifelong companion (perhaps someone who has been abused the same way he has?), because he is nothing like the Kevin Gibes types who did this to himself. But I will still be sitting back with popcorn when he's throwing teenager-like tantrums and going through teenager-like phases in his 30's.

I can't speak for the kid, but if all your role models are drag queens, femmy gays, and diva pop stars, then I can see how he can think that storming off in a big huff and redirecting 100% of the social energy towards himself is an acceptable way to manage stress.

But also, how much does his developmental immaturity fail to recognize that the "diva" behavior is situational, inauthentic, and predicated on a deeper set of relationships with other people? To put it a different way, the bitchy little fit in that milieu is almost always over something easily resolved, and when the social energy is drawn on, it's drawn on in a way where no face is lost for the person throwing the fit. Like in these situations, there's a whole community involved, and this isn't the emotional culmination of the connection. There's a certain point where your friendships have some traction, like you have some skin in the game. Any freakouts are performative, and nobody involved confuses the performance for reality.

Jazz feels like he's performing at being the person he wants to be, especially when he's freaking out. However, there's no adult passion, no deeper understanding present at any level. Like his "relationship" with Amir, or Noelle for that matter. There's no apparent emotional intimacy under all the surface bullshit.

According to the family lore, Jaron chose this name after seeing his sister Arial play the role of Princess Jasmine from "Aladdin" in a school play. It took Jeanette until 2014/2015 to publicly refer to Jaron as Jazz...so probably not her preferred name choice. Remember this is the same family whose 'evidence' for Jazz being transgender is his unsnapping his onesies and saying "dwess" (indicating he wanted to wear dresses "like all girls do" — sure, Jeanette) at age two.

Websites that provide the Bloshinskys' real names, ages, addresses, contact info, etc. all still list Jazz as Jaron Seth Bloshinsky...if he's listed at all. He can be found under his birth name (also still listed as "female") but when you search for other family members, Jaron is absent in the "related to" section. It doesn't seem likely there has been a legal name change yet.

As an aside: there seems to be quite a lot of anecdotes that Jazz was simply imitating Ari, which the family then spun as 'evidence' that Jazz was transgender. It's not really a stretch that Jazz found more connection with his sister, since identical twins (i.e. Sander and Griffen) often tend to stick together very closely in childhood. It would have been pretty normal that Jazz saw Ari as his playmate in the family.
