Before streaming NiOh 2 Phil was trying to come up with excuses not to have a death counter onscreen and one of them was that there's already too much stuff up there. No issues adding a vest streak counter though.

I have to ask and I’m not sure if this is the right place but...
This is the first time I’ve tuned into his live stream, I usually watch it on YouTube, wtf is up with this weird ass music? It’s absolutely awful and second in annoyance only to DSP himself (and this is debatable). Is this common? Do people like this? Is this a detractor thing that slipped in? What about the long ass break? 25 minutes? I just.. people pay for this? In 2 hours he’s gotten nothing accompanied, saved 6 times and now there’s 25 minutes of off time, poorly auto tuned DSP scatting some of his most annoying phrases.
I am aghast.

phil probably doesn't enjoy music in any capacity
so when he went to STRIMMING, he needed music during his PRESTRIM like other STRIMMERS. But since he's lazy and cheap when it comes to his business, he couldn't buy music to use, or look for royalty free stuff. also his ego probably made it so he could only except music with him in it

Played every break. Shitty remixes made by a fan literally years ago. The same songs are played before he starts talking at the beginning of the stream too.

As for the breaks, he hates gaming and knows his tardy fans will give him money regardless, so he fucks off for as long as he wants (up to 45 mins on occasion). He has Maybe 3.5-4 hours of actual gameplay in a 6-7 hour stream.

Part of me doesn't want to watch his RE3 Remake, because I'm ashamed to admit I learned something about RE3 from Phil. The worm boss, I didn't know it could be hurt, let alone killed by dropping the lamp post into the water and making an electrical soup. I had to learn that, from watching Phil fumble his ass through RE3. I don't want to have a repeat where I think I'm fairly competent, only to have Phil show up and do some dumb fucking shit that has me saying "No fucking way" again.

What they say they do and what they actually do are two entirely different things.

Phil hit a cutscene introducing a new enemy that has a mechanic like poison where you need to use a green herb to heal yourself.

Since Phil had no herbs he is now backtracking as far as possible to unlock closets instead of going into the arena.

"Its a very slow moving game so far" - Man who refuses to progress.

He's gonna backtrack now and then bitch when theres no items when he HAS to backtrack immediately after this.

Like, it just doesn't cross his mind the game would provide green herbs IN THE AREA WITH THE MONSTERS.

He's saving every 30 seconds, I thought I save scummed at 10 saves by this point.
