It's so obvious she didn't carefully check, and instead of admitting it when someone points out to her that the only thing about her book that's on Archive amounts to a free advertisement, she tries to pull a, "Yeah, that's totally what I want removed!" Smooth. I say do it. Erase any mention of her book from anywhere on the internet besides the store listings where it's sold. Make sure it sits obscure and forgotten. It's what she wants, right?

I like the solutions like we need a law passed that makes Libraries charge for books and to add DRM to existing books and to also punish people who share books for free.

None of these solutions are consumer friendly.

I bet they would hate it if netflix charged them for each individual episode if they ever wanted to re-watch something on top of the existing monthly fee.

This reminds me very much of how music companies decided to double down on consumer unfriendly practices when pirating became a big thing. Totally brought them back to the glorious salad days! Oh wait no, it made them tank even further.

Considering that most of these people are both assholes and shit writers, it warms my heart to know that they must really be hurting for money if they're this butthurt about an archive where their books wrack up a dozen people reading the blurb.
