for whatever reason
Iirc it happened because he doesn't actually use a playlist. The detractor song came on because of autoplay and he wasn't paying attention. He actually sits there and plays the next song manually when the current one ends. In the exact same order, every time.

If this isn't proof that Phil is an autistic boomer, then I don't know what is.

I'm surprised no one here mentioned(at least lately) as to why Phil with the odd shaped head still plays SSF2T despite being trash at it.
Because Phil thinks his "I was blahking, there's lahg every match I'm losing" act draws in the moneys. He's said this during streams a few times. I almost felt bad because Phil even hates playing these fighting games now.

Played every break. Shitty remixes made by a fan literally years ago. The same songs are played before he starts talking at the beginning of the stream too.

As for the breaks, he hates gaming and knows his tardy fans will give him money regardless, so he fucks off for as long as he wants (up to 45 mins on occasion). He has Maybe 3.5-4 hours of actual gameplay in a 6-7 hour stream.

He NEEDS those breaks dude. It takes awhile to use the bathroom and grab a snack. What do you want him to 'race' down the stairs, 'wolf' down some food, then 'race' back upstairs to start streaming? That's way too much dude and Phil already works 6 days a week, 80 hours a week

So he switched his "donate to me" terminology to "tip me"? If his fans weren't such speds I'd be curious what they think about being told for all these years that they were donating when really they were tipping.

This isn't going to save you Phil, Nancy is coming for ya.
His fans are not the swiftest. They probably didn't understand the difference between a tip or donation until after Phil pigsplained his "major updates" to the channel.

You are very right--nothing Phil does NOW can save him from what he did before.

he has spoken about the correct terminology for it in the past, he never changed it because he's lazy

something/someone made him spend 30 seconds to change it

they clearly skimmed through a youtube video, and I wish we could've heard him pigsplain it

"it's the default iniciary stage one attributation of the forumlated c++ encoded codec system of streamatory laboratories industries incorporated, who are responsible by legal law and guitarist musicianistic obligatory obligation to process positive interactivity currency, just like a waiter and their tips jar"

I unfairly grouped all his fans together into one category "wheelchair". Some are actually handicapped, by choice or not, but that doesn't account for those that are brighter than the average bulb in his following. I agree that some true Phil fan pointed it out to him. He is certainly lazy and won't change anything unless prompted. Thanks for reminding me :)

Should we consider Phil smart for somehow finding a way to make him wearing a vest an incentive for his retarded fanbase to give him money or just lucky?

I think shameless is the right word. Anyone can go on a street corner, beg shamelessly and eventually get any money but you must have absolutely no self-respect do to it like DSP

Sf is just his weekly ego stroke and probably thinks the artificial salt generates additional income, which is might from all the exceptions thinking it harkens back to his “white hot popular” days
I wasn't paying full attention to the stream last night but I'm pretty sure his record was 1 win and over a dozen losses—and this was to randoms, not killers like AJ—before he made dubious claims about the game not working right and ragequit. So reality doesn't seem to count for much to what passes for his ego.

Phil went into a boss fight, got his ass beat, said and I quote "okay fuck this guy, i'm just going to shoot him in the face with my pistol" proceeded to put his grenade launcher in the item box and was then surprised the boss fight could not be won by him using his weakest weapon?

edit: he is getting slaughtered and is bitching about the dodge

Well, Phil used to give his fans absolutely nothing for hitting the arbitrary $100 tips goal. And he still hit it pretty often. What Phil has done is stumbled into an absolute bare minimum effort "reward" for hitting the tips goal.

I wouldn't call Phil smart, it wasn't even his idea. He just got lucky that his viewers are exceptional enough to accept such a pathetic reward for giving him $100. Once the streak breaks I imagine it won't work nearly as well, but Phil will probably find something equally as worthless and effortless to appease the wheelchairs.

You know, I guess it should surprise us that Phil thinks wearing a vest is worth $100. This guy pays out hundreds of dollars for a chance to get some sweaty pixels in a gacha game. The $100 Vest probably seems like a good deal to him.

jesus the nose on this guy

I don't even really care that he tries to flex that he's "successful" when he wears the vest. It's just that the only day-to-day entertainment Phil still provided was him getting upset over low tips. The streams where he would get tons of cheers and subs but still be mad because he didn't feel that he got enough money that he could throw away "immediately" were comedy gold.

"Phil, you should do direct capture. Everyone else does it and it's way better quality" Umm, no. Pointing my camera at the television is good enough. I'm not following some stupid trend.

Years later, "I discovered on my own to do direct capture and the quality is way better"

"Phil you should do something stupid for a tip goal" Umm, no. I am not a children's entertainer and don't dye my hair or wear silly costumes for money.

Years later "I decided to put on a silly vest as a tips goal!"
