Yet another key as to how Russell sees this whole situation. He really believes he and Taylor are locked in a battle of sorts, both sides trading blows with one another, when in reality he's just punching into the wind and she knows nothing about him. He believes that he matters as much to her as she matters to him. Russell still doesn't understand that Taylor does not get directly involved with these situations, she has an army of people working under her to deal with pests like him.
The fact that he tried to settle his lawsuit for a date with her leads me to believe he uses lawsuits as a scare tactic, like the mere existence of a lawsuit against someone is enough to frighten them into settlement. He's still 100% convinced he'll win every lawsuit, but he mainly wants to use them as a threat to get what he wants. It's a way of saying "last chance, do what I want or I will ruin your life."
"When they have no clue" actually, Russ, you're the one without a clue. You literally publish every single detail of your life on social media, and that's how we know all about you. You pushed away everyone in your life who cared about you and went against every bit of advice you were given because you just
knew you had to be right. And of course, he now admits what we've all said: Russell still believes he's just one step away from fame and stardom. He actually thinks he just has to get the slightest amount of attention and it'll be all mansions and supermodels for the rest of his days.
He'll never understand that he'll never be famous. He's still confident things will change and he'll get to bang Taylor, after taking her on a date, of course. I must say, this has been one of his most telling posts I've ever seen. Just blatantly admitting he's just as delusional as he's always been with no self awareness.
I've come to a conclusion about how Russ thinks: He's still certain he'll be rich, famous, and banging hot women whenever he wants one day. That will never change. He cannot fathom that he won't make it one day. He sees his attempts to "woo" Taylor as a fantasy battle between himself, a downtrodden hero, fighting the entire world of mentally ill trolls, bias judges and damn dirty agents. To him, every one of us, every bias judge, every woman who turns him down, every job that rejects him, we're all just obstacles on his path, and we'll just make his inevitable victory all the sweeter. He can't wait for the day when he'll be able to say "I told you so!" to all of us.
Obviously, that day will never come, but I wonder if he'll ever realize that or if he'll be an old man on his deathbed, convinced he'll be famous any day now.
Above all else, his latest Facebook post has shown that — despite all these years and embarrassments and defeats — he has learned absolutely nothing. He’s never once reexamined his role in all of his self-inflicted tragedies, or questioned whether the entire planet is wrong or if he is in fact misguided. He’s made exactly zero progress over all these years.
Even though Russell is the cow that I love to hate, I feel a bit sad at this because I realize this is how he is going to die: alone, with nothing and nobody, and having wasted his life on pointless endeavors and never coming a step closer to figuring out why.
You're absolutely right. But don't feel bad. This is a man who literally thinks it should be a felony for a woman to refuse to have sex with him. He deserves every bad thing that happens to him for the rest of his life. I want him to die exactly as you described because he deserves it. If Russell had his way, he'd be allowed to rape any woman he wanted, force famous women into giving him attention or else take millions of dollars from them, and have people arrested for making fun of him.
