You know, the more I see sketch politicians protest hydroxychloroquine's increasingly apparent effectiveness against Wu Flu, the more I'm convinced it works and the reason why Trump is leaning in on it so heavily and low-key loosening the requirements to be prescribed it (thanks to things like Right To Try.) They do NOT want to see him be credited for the potential medical discovery equivalent of penicillin.

With a thumbnail, I seriously thought her face was shrinking, but she's even more unsettling up-close.

I’ve been at work, what exactly happened at the briefing today that pissed her off so much?
Who bitch this is?

No seriously. Never heard of her. Are we going to ignore that this drug has been demonstrated to work in France and several cases here? Nope gotta get that bad orange man because almighty Herstory (PBUI) demands that he is an evil nazi war criminal and you gotta break a few thousand eggs to get to the promised Right Side with open borders and free child mutilation surgeries

It's been incredibly difficult as a sheerly hobby reader of medical science to figure out what the fucking deal is with this particular drug. It has practical applications and, presumably, it wasn't Trump's idea to bring it up, so why can't I find anything concrete about it regarding it's relation to covid-19? It's completely a war of empty editorials.

If you can't find anything concrete on it you're either a bad researcher or have way too high standards.

Chinese source (In English)
Western source (Low study size)
Another western source (Mechanistic)

You'll probably get hundreds just with Google Scholar results. Basically it was something they tried with SARs a while ago, it was close enough to try here, and it probably works.

But medical studies are slow so it takes forever to get a medicine approved for something, for some pretty good reasons. The risk here is comparitivly low given that it was already an approved medicine, so part of the fighting attempts are to cut out some of the red tape to get it tested and approved. Even with that it will still take a while.

Lifestyle Brand is another one that sets off my warning signals. Lot of the wokeshit companies focus a lot on "values".

Values?... that sounds like the religious right and the moral majority don't it?

There woke lifestyle brands are designed to be more cultish and fill every waking moment of your life, you don't just watch disney you eat, drink, watch, listen to, and work for it. The values are aded on and tend to follow whatever keeps you buying and working more.

I agree, but every generation has their own "end of history" meme. Anyone peddling an end of the world Christ is nigh prophecy is doing the exact same schtick.

Christ needs to get his ass in gear we've been predicting his return about 200 years after he disappeared

Trump supported it prepare to have any test that prove it's effectiveness buried, while not as bad as other forms of academia medical academia is still pretty heavily blue and I wouldn't put it past them to bury anything that could prove orange man bad. You have to remember two things first these people have burried papers talking about the negative effects on hormone blockers and that most dems would consider 20K + deaths a worthy sacrifice to remove orange man from office.

Trump heavily leaned in on Hydroxichloroquine at today's White House Press Briefing. Then this exchange happened. Bonus open roast of CNN as fake news.

So they want to charge him with crimes against humanity for... buying millions of doses ahead of time, in case it proves to work as a cure?

I don't even have a joke here, that's just too dumb for satire. I thought I understood the Derangement, but this is just... man, I don't know.

I don't see anything like this in his deleted Tweets, either. The only things he tweeted around that timeline were one at 7:37 PM and one at 7:41 PM. He didn't send anything out at 7:39.

I also can't find a single example of anyone retweeting that specific Tweet itself, trying to retweet a since-deleted message, nor any variations on that Tweet from people using a different display. I can literally only find it in that exact picture, so yeah I'm gonna' continue to go with Mitchell is an idiot, but he's not that much of an idiot.
