Hunt down The Freeman was better shit than this.

They were drawn way before April Fools. The mangaka did draw "official" human designs for Legosi and Haru though (it's thought that it's an April Fool's joke but it's still there so)

That "official" human design is honestly how I'd picture him, that fanart makes him way too "cute" if that makes sense. He should look a bit creepy and intimidating, someone like Bela Lugosi for me, partial due to his name origin . She's even stated that she models his face off Mathieu Amalric and the body from Kenichi Matsuyama, so if you aren't going the Bela Lugosi route at least consider the models she's used when making your own.View attachment 1214191

I'm just nitpicking with that stuff, though; they're all animals but for some reason, I don't picture someone like Haru, who's notable for being a pure white animal, to be black.
Spoiler Alert for Beastars I guess:Lurking this thread has made me scared to look up fanart for the shows I like, I thought random mlp crossover art was bad (still are).

Now, I've never watched Beastars, but from what I can gather here Legosi gives off "weirdo, but a good guy" vibes. Even from a quick google search I found some humanizations that can pull that off while putting their own twists on it, rather than just making him look generically cute or copying the official one entirely.Lurking this thread has made me scared to look up fanart for the shows I like, I thought random mlp crossover art was bad (still are).

You know what? It doesn't look too bad. And doesn't look too brown at all. They also all actually try to make the human version look like Legosi, unlike the fanart which looks like they just slapped a snaggletooth and grey hair on an ambiguously brown dude and called it a day.
I give in, I'd definitely smooch. Something about his face is just really cute to me? Either way, you're completely right about those kinds of humanizations, they barely take from the source material and just bullshit it.Now, I've never watched Beastars, but from what I can gather here Legosi gives off "weirdo, but a good guy" vibes. Those are all much better interpretations of Legosi and you can kind of tell that they're basing it off of how he acts in the manga/anime. I find with a lot of this sjw art posted it just seems like a lot of them don't even care about the show they're drawing from, the characters personality just isn't there or it's the most surface level character observations. Like sure, they probably watch it but a lot of the fanart I see comes off as someone doing a commission at a con for a show they only vaguely know about and only based off the first couple images they found off google. Now, I've never watched Beastars, but from what I can gather here Legosi gives off "weirdo, but a good guy" vibes. Based entirely on how Legosi was shown in the anime, as I've yet to get very far in the manga, he really was that super awkward yet utterly adorable character. They really managed to capture that in the human designs.I give in, I'd definitely smooch. Something about his face is just really cute to me??? His hands disturb me.

"Heehee, I wish death upon to people who made transition surgery even possible for me because few people are ignorant and totally like, not supportive of sharing bathrooms and such because it could cause increase of assaults to women. Like, fuck that. Death to Cis people lol. I'm so quirky. Give me gold."Again: Do I need to say anything?

Was this made by radishsnakes? Because the object show autism and "down with cis" stuff that makes up 99% of what she draws gives me the impression.Again: Do I need to say anything?
