These neurological reports are valid. And they are on the rise.
I think we need to see the forest from the trees on Drain's data here. Screw the CFR, look at what he is presenting and look further into the neurological factor - and where this could go. I was only reading days ago about the ward in Italy for these cases and have been concerned that this virus is in fact doing more than what we know.
When being critical of Drain's data, just remember many virologists weren't raising the alarm back in Jan and Feb like they should have. Having data is one thing, willing to accept it is entirely another. Drain has presented many factual reports that hold weight and anyone studying Italy's data and some reports coming out of the USA know it is true.
If you want to know why 3 months down the road we don't have clear answers from virologists on SARS-CoV-2 the answer is simple: They don't have them because the target is not what they expected and data keeps changing and/or is so varied it gives them something they can't nail down.
This virus has so many symptoms and effects it is staggering. WTF is this thing? Novel in more ways than we have conventionally coined earlier viruses.
In a long list of concerns, the largest has to be this virus has a big enough pool of people to not only mutate, but to jump species and then back again. It is already infecting zoo animals and if it decides to jump from Humans to Swine, or Bovidae, and then back again, watch the fuck out. The spikes on this virus seem to have affinity for mammals and this is a great reason why it most certainly will mutate - successfully.
Also, just because you survived the virus this time doesn't mean next time you get it (or a slight variant), your body doesn't go into a storm and still kill you. Again, we should see the forest from the trees and disregard errors on CFR or otherwise, as IMO I don't see this as pivotal to the real point which is : This virus is doing things it shouldn't be capable of and is novel and dangerous, and likely to become more dangerous and possibly will leave many recovered persons with permanent damage, compromised immune systems or organs, and possibly vulnerable to a reinfection of a similar strain with more serious consequences.
The data is getting worse, not better.

It is fucking with my head. My coworkers are exposed to the public on a daily basis. We work in public transportation, ffs. I don't want them to die.
I was literally having trouble making eye contact with some of them because I kept imagining them on a ventilator, in the ICU, with a tube sticking out of their mouth.
Everything I am doing, everything I have done, I do because I want people to live.
I want my friends, family, and coworkers to survive this. That's all.
