Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

I know i'm clogging up the thread here, but I think he was already losing ground in the DNC and the primaries. The media picked it up, and to sound a bit like a conspiracy theorist, their Dem handlers donors found something to finish him off with. "This guy is crazy! Listen to that scream! Now support our milque toast boring-ass candidate Kyle, uh Kris, er- Kerry!"
I agree it shouldn't have killed him, and he probably would have beat or been closer to knocking out Dubya, but here we are.
Edit:

See, Kerry was so boring people can't even remember he was the one running in '04!
Was dean in 04? I thought he was an 08er

I can't think of any reply to a reporter that's better than this guy's.

Like he said, if Trump doesn't need to be there, well then the reporters don't need to be there, do they?
Speaking of gotcha questions, boy oh boy did this clown get completely pwned by Trump today.

Edit: In meme format.

V for Vendetta is, as the people of its birth-nation would say, wank. Pretentious wannabe-revolutionary garbage written by a hack who was butthurt his party didn't win elections (and was sure that nuclear war wouldn't touch Britain if Labour won in '83 and moved all the nukes out after their victory which is just... re.tarded on many levels) and spent a whole decade trying (and failing) to be as hip and out-there as possible while hating that meany witch Thatcher and made a Gary Stu who is the "bestest revolutionary evar!" Alan Moore is influential in comics, but being an influence doesn't mean you're good. And let's not talk about Lost Girls.

I also don't need to explain how much it damaged the guy fawkes mask and internet activism to boot.
Honestly, I don't think there's enough said about Alan Moore.
Despite me agreeing Watchmen was raped by DC (Not that he'd treat it any better), he's a member of a bizarre whiny lefty media elite in the UK. The same elite which allows morons like Gary Lineker to accidentally speak the truth about trannies and not be immediately sentenced to death in prison.

By all means, "Lost Girls" is legally child pornography under the Coroners and Justice Act but no action has ever been taken against him.
This isn't him slipping under the UK Government's nose, he actually had to explicitly obtain permission from them to use Wendy from Peter Pan due to it being of the many strange eternally state copyrighted works (Due to J.M. Barrie donating it to Great Ormond Street in 1929).

It's absolutely no surprise that he inadvertently created the cringe movement known as Anonymous.

I still say the Guy Fawkes mask is to Millennials what Che Guevara T-shirts were to their parents.
None of them compare to the glory of the Zoot Suit.

Very wasteful and decadent clothing at a time when rationing was in place to fight literally Hitler. That's rebellion.

The fact they were wasteful AND a form of rebellious "fuck you" from the youths pissed off servicemen enough that it caused a legit riot.

Yeah, the song isn't just a catchy fictitious funny-do, it's referencing actual history.

It was partially a race-riot, since the hispanic community were the people who invented and wore zoot suits and who took part in that culture during the war. They were seen as flaunting their lack of loyalty to the country by buying up so much fabric and having lavish parties as white men died overseas.

Someone asked me an interesting question about the media, the DNC and essentially everyone who's profoundly, pathologically anti-Trump right now, and it wound up leading our conversation towards a more interesting question when they brought up a quote from A Pillar of Iron. For the sake of this argument, let's say that it's undeniably true that the Media, DNC, RINOs, etc. are all verifiable, covert members of a hostile, foreign body (China, Iran, cannibal midgets, whoever, take your pick) and their goal is to break the U.S. down from the inside. Sow discord, destroy institutions, ruin public faith in systems, push propaganda, their goal is to generally just fuck us up for the benefit of another country.

This isn't rhetorical, I'm genuinely asking: What would they be doing differently from what they're doing now?

“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself.

For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist.

A murderer is less to fear.”
Someone at the American Conservative decided to actually answer your question.

The third reason is that many media companies either do business with China or are paid by the government in some way. This one is potentially more insidious than the other two.

The companies that own the major news networks, NBC, ABC, and CBS, all do significant business in China. On the print side, top U.S. newspapers like the Washington Post and New York Times have been criticized for running paid China Daily inserts. What they were paid for these inserts is still unknown.

By contrast, conservative news companies are much less involved in China. Conservative radio giant Salem, whose attempt to buy Tribune several years ago provoked an enormous freakout from media reporters over consolidation, is all-American. And Fox, after several troubled attempts to break into the Chinese market—including sending a News Corp team to help build People’s Daily a website—has mostly given up, after selling its Asia-Pacific operations to Disney over the last two years.

Disney owns ABC and has a park in Shanghai. It also owns ESPN, which was criticized for its coverage of China’s retaliation against the NBA earlier this year over one team owner’s support of the Hong Kong protests. But other than ABC, Disney is relatively uninvolved in news.

Comcast, on the other hand, has a much larger footprint in the U.S. media landscape, between NBC News, CNBC, and MSNBC. The company’s role in fostering cultural exchange is truly historic: they’ve brought to millions of American homes a customer service experience akin to a utility provider in a communist country, and have invested billions to bring “Minion Land” and a Harry Potter village to Beijing, with the help of a state-owned investment vehicle.

What might the Chinese government do if it were displeased with something that ran on MSNBC? Perhaps they’d have a tense conversation with their partners at 30 Rockefeller Plaza about the forthcoming slate of movie releases in China. Or it might be worse, given their decision to cut off all NBA games to retaliate against one team owner.

Ah yes you are right, what orangeman should do is go on stage and tell the panicing public, that is being told by almost every media source that this is the end of the world, that there is no hope and they should just kill themselves now.

Like I get it saying it may just go away is wishful but for fucks sake when every other media source is declaring this the end of humanity what the hell is he supposed to do?
