The lockdown won't be able to continue indefinitely before some people actually do snap. Being socially isolated can actually harm people who are already mentally ill. For example, at extremes at moment I'm dealing with people who have severe anxiety who are now becoming agoraphobic because of the lockdown since it reinforces the behavior. The schizophrenics are beginning to have more positive symptoms including command hallucinations in people who never had them (these are the types that can lead to more averisve behaviors).
They could fix this be stating this is when it may end we will update this day, but even then its human nature for people to be social at some point they will rebel and ignore.

We are all going to get it. It's a given that at least half the world population, likely more, will get it. It's as easy to catch as a cold. The only reason to isolate is to spread that out so that medical systems don't get crushed all at once.
Yes you're going to catch it eventually. It's hoped that it will mutate into a less aggressive disease, or that we can get a vaccine rolling before everyone does catch it- but more likely it'll be a slow burn, if we keep doing what we are.

1-the sesion de control was a MASSIVE shitfest. As expected. However, it was also useful. As you know we have a ridiculous testing backlog that no one knows what to do about because the scientific effort, that won't even really help us only those who will bell curved later, is hogging them all. That came up on the session and most importantly it seems in La Mancha is even worse than everywhere else, with the tests not even being enough for the dead. So. Remember how here in andalucia when they tried to tell us our outbreak wasn't corona 'cause no positives despite having no tests to confirm if they're positive to begin with? Remember how we practically rebelled with even the cops going to clap in front of the hospital containing it just to give the government a giant middle finger? Yeah apparently they didn't do that there, and they should have, and now they got a lot more dead than they're saying, and when a fucking retarded minister tried blaming the junta for it their chief was quick to expose the fucking filth for all to see. Yeah eh idiots in the ministry: at least don't try blaming the rest for your fuckup! The minister was a woman though so *insert sexist statement about not admitting your fuckups here.*
Now we got a lot of stupid headlines claiming "SPAIN HAS TWICE THE DEAD IT CONFIRMED!!!!" So let me tell you. ONE spanish hospital suspects it has twice the dead it reported. That spanish hospital has 5 confirmed dead. Now. There's other dead in other hospitals that need testing too. But it's not even 1000 much les 10000. We don't have twice the dead. They're also claiming the contagion has gone up but it's fairly blatantly just statistical noise.
2-North and Central Europe, as always, say that if the south, east and west are dying then they'll be there to bleed us on our last moments, but they sure as shit won't help. We say Europe is dead and we'll be happy to pull the plug on its cpap. Get ready assholes, because you'll soon need our help when the bell curve tolls. And we'll be quite happy to send it to the south, east and the UK. They actually helped us when asked. We have debts to pay. A good part of it will be weight, high blood pressure and poverty. But it’s possibly there’s a genetic influence on susceptibility. People living in poverty are hit harder by most diseases. I find it interesting that we are strongly discouraged from looking at poverty unless it’s through a lens of intersectionality. It’s much more uncomfortable (and much more valuable) to look at why people are poor, than be on about it simply being racism. Screaming white supremacy doesn’t solve anything, but looking at poverty is important.
We dont know who the weak are. Weak in terms of susceptibility to something like this isn’t purely old and doddery. There will be young, apparently strong people who die. You wanna roll those dice?

Also, I'd say that the media is to blame for this somehow becoming a shock or a surprise to anyone. The media decided to focus on the higher income areas/the suburbs to get people into panic mode. "If this virus can kill thousands in white suburbia, then it will get everybody if they don't stay inside!" Should have focused on a few more types of communities there, mainstream media.
Anyone with working brain cells could have predicted that this would hit lower income urban areas the hardest. Firstly, a lot of people in lower income areas don't have the option of having things delivered to them, so they've had to go out and shop. Plus, a lot of the lower income urban areas are densely populated. There are so many factors that contribute to the virus hitting those areas the hardest, sadly.

They also might not have cars so they don't even have the option of just going to a big grocery store and buying a whole month of shit at once. Even poor people who get EBT can just take a whole month's worth down to a Wal-Mart Supercenter and hunker down with a mountain of shit. Urban dwellers are going to have to go to the corner store maybe every day.

Yes, I'm sure people en masse will comply with that. Much as they gave Trump shit for wanting to reopen by Easter, I'll be surprised if people abide through April 30th, and shocked if they do through May 31st. They can't actually keep people under house arrest "indefinitely". The state lacks the manpower, and even in the face of danger, the longer they're dealing with it, the less compliant even "sensible" people will become over time.
