Yeah the parents have been mentioned a few times in the thread. They're pretty uncomfortable with it and they have no idea what caused the trauma. They feel guilty she's grown up to be so retarded and pay for everything to make up for it as she heavily implies that it's their fault. They've never commented publicly and don't have a big social media presence. They're very unlikely to comment. Chloe has a younger brother who doesn't seem to have any mental health issues.

Nan doesn't have a job and most likely claims welfare due to her brain injury. I think I have a source on that somewhere I'll dig up once I've finished work. As for whether they had sex, according to Chloe she as Nin has sex with Nan as Riven.

She paid for regular therapy at Pottergate from 2017 at the time of her diagnosis to at least September 2018 as seen in her 'day in the life' video. She also spoke with a Better Help therapist for a while as seen in her sponsored videos.

Nan doesn't strike me as a pedophile in the sense that she gets off on children because they are children, more as someone who just has absolutely no sexual boundaries.

Not uncommon in those with cluster b personality disorders. Nan is diagnosed with BPD, which is in this cluster. BPD is known for impairing the ability to form healthy interpersonal relationships. Boundaries are hard to follow and set for these people. They often take on the qualities of their partners that they are idolizing. I used to think Nan was the malingerer and Chloe was being strung along, now I believe Chloe is actually the malingering one. Nan is the one being manipulated. That doesn't clear her name at all though.

Interestingly enough, BPD also has high rates of dissociation, on average scoring a 19 on the DES II scale. For reference, average score for those with a dissociative disorder is a 36. Another symptom of BPD is identity disturbance. This combined with the dissociation may cause a person to believe they might actually have alters. In fact, studies have shown that around 30-70% of those diagnosed with DID are also diagnosed with BPD. It's important to note that BPD patients often have a history of complex trauma.

I agree that Nan isn't exactly what we'd normally consider a 'classic pedophile' but some of these behaviors are really concerning, especially the inclusion of children and the bugchasing. I can absolutely see how if people in her life were supportive of these outlets used for 'coping', they could escalate into something really dangerous not only for others, but for Nan herself. We know that Nan engages in self-damaging behavior, and unprotected promiscuity is not far off from what we've already seen. It does seem Chloe has latched on to her for some sort of personal gain and that she doesn't care about Nan in the same way Nan cares about her; coupled with with Nan's brain injury, it gives off predatory vibes.

Do you think if Chloe contracts an STD then 'the body' (and therefore all of the alters) have it too, or would her 'system' consider physical illnesses different than mental illness in the way that her 'alters' have their own mental illnesses supposedly separate from the host? For sure, but with Chloe and their audience praising this stuff, it doesn't seem like Nan's getting the help she desperately seems to need. I wonder how long it'll be 'til the other ball drops and their fanbase gets wind of just how creepy this all is. I think you're right, and she has previously said she's been aroused by this sort of thing since childhood; I just meant I'm sympathetic to anyone with a TBI because obviously that sucks and would make treatment more difficult. Earlier in the thread, someone mentioned brain injuries can lower inhibitions - if Nan was this outward about her fetish before the injury, I have to wonder what might be out there that we haven't found yet.
