I think the reason TERFs don't like the Karen thing is because the name denotes lower-middle class ordinariness and like the Troons they identify as something more exotic. The misogyny is a convenient excuse, the offence is rooted in bourgeois sensibility. Secondly, if you can get some traction on a name meme then go nuts.
