The bankruptcy filing claims $307.99/month in health insurance with no medical or dental expenses and Katherine gets healthcare through Fred Meyer's.
Does she though? She’s only part time. And if she does, why isn’t he on her plan? And if he his, why is he listing it as one of his expenses? Is he paying her back for the cost of his insurance?

She doesn't qualify for health insurance since she likely works less than 30 hours per week.

The 307.99 has to be his premium only.

Part time employees (which includes her) can still get employer-provided coverage, it's just at the company's discretion. Judging from the extremely low cost and Phil not being on her plan I'm guessing that Fred Meyer's discretion meant a plan with less than the Obamacare minimum and no option for spousal coverage.

I think I found the plan and yes, nothing on the exchange was $300 and change for two people:

This is one of the cheapest plans they offer, and is a truly awful deal. For non-Americans this means Phil is liable for 100% of medical costs other than GP visits (which are probably about $10-30 each after insurance) until he's already paid $6,350 out-of-pocket and still pays 30% of expenses beyond that..... and it doesn't even cover dental :story: :story: :story:

I for one am shocked...SHOCKED!...that he probably just picked the first thing that popped up instead of doing even cursory investigation before making a choice. That's so unlike him.

Looks like he's going with the "run it into the ground first" method of dealing with an obvious insult.

DSP is playing music for about half an hour (kind of normal) but says he's been on hold for 33 minutes on some call. He says, "not exactly sure when i'm suppose dto call them if early in the morning isn't good enough".
So he calls at basically the same time he starts the stream and, separately, considers 11:15 "early morning." I guess when you wake up at 11 you have to multitask.
UPDATE: the company takes calls during business hours, until 5 PM Eastern, so 2 PM Phil time. "What am I supposed to do, wake up at 5 AM and stay on hold for 2 hours?"
9 AM is good enough. Or call on your day off when you don't have engagements besides driving to stores and ordering out.

His rocking seems worse today.

Wonder if MidFirst already called/emailed him and told him they were coming for his ass.

I'm confused: why would he waste his time calling MidFirst? He's losing his CT condo and he's made it clear he doesn't care. Is he scared that losing the CT condo could make him lose the protection he's gained while his bankruptcy proceedings are on-going?

[2020-04-08 17:42:19 UTC] darksydephil: over 30 minutes on hold on a random Wednesday in the middle of the day dspHmm sounds like a great business
[2020-04-08 17:44:22 UTC] darksydephil: yeah this is pretty shit. 33 minutes on hold with these fuckers. ill give them around 5 more minutes
[2020-04-08 17:52:47 UTC] darksydephil: ill give this call 3 more minutes then i give up
[2020-04-08 17:55:02 UTC] darksydephil: yeah this is not looking good. now on hold for 45 minutes and nobody talking yet

Even when he's talking to himself, he does the "talk tough but do nothing" move :story: :story: :story: Also love that he's mad he has to call during business hours--what a strange request that a business would want to talk to you while they're actually open!

DSP is also ducking answering who he's calling:

[2020-04-08 17:39:17 UTC] darksydephil: @The_Worst_Nurse the president, but he's a busy guy
[2020-04-08 17:43:45 UTC] darksydephil: i'm calling Papa Johns, I clearly told them no dough on this pizza but, of course, there's the damn dough! dspRage
[2020-04-08 17:46:40 UTC] darksydephil: I tried calling Papa John but he just kept babbling about eating 45 pizzas in the last 3 days

If they tell him they're coming after the deficiency between the mortgage and sale price, he could be freaking out about that (and probably should, tbh).

Him acting tough while also being a simp is great.
