Anyone who thinks Trump was truly meme'd into presidency doesn't really get how presidential elections have worked for the past like...five or six decades. As soon as Trump became GOP candidate he had as good as won the presidency, because the position just gets swapped between parties every two terms. Unless Obama were Reagan popular (which he wasn't short of MAYBE during his initial campaign, and that was a kneejerk response to how badly W was hated at the time) and Biden was the candidate promising '8 more years of what you love', no matter who the Dems ran they'd never win.

Likewise, Trump is basically guaranteed to be re-elected because despite MSM attempts he's not widely hated like Carter and HW were, and short of kamekazing their own approval ratings, incumbents always get voted back in (because better the person you know won't kill you than the guy who's making promises but hasn't been tested as president yet). Anyone who thinks it's anything other than that hasn't been paying attention to how elections have gone since...I don't remember, WW2?

That'd be hilarious because Tulsi Gabbard basically ripped her entire campaign to shreds and Trump would happily use quotes of her doing it in his own ads, and it doesn't get much better than using a Democrat's words to discredit a Democrat.

I'm still waiting to see if Biden picks Hillary and then quits in October for vaguely-defined health reasons (but which were definitely not dementia u gaiz) to let her ascend to the top slot for another chance at Her Turn.

Bad optics but good optics at the same time. It's more or less a fact that CNN will play gotcha questions at the officials, spin their words, and attempt to use them as wedges in their Trump narrative, but blocking medical officials from appearing on CNN will make it seem like the Administration's hiding something.

The fundamental fact is that to everyone with TDS, everything Trump says is inherently false, no matter what. Regardless, CNN shouldn't be shown anywhere anyways- it's barely news.

Trump did "meme" himself to the presidency if we take "meme" to mean a simplistic, relocatable and sometimes humorous device.
