The term was originally coined as a way to unite the non-boomer/neocon right. It quickly became a oriented around race politics.

It's kinda like a website created for free speech - it naturally gets taken over by Nazis.

He's been associated with the alt-right, though he's a lot more nuanced and more rational compared to many of the spergs that make them up.

In his defense regarding his coronavirus rhetoric, he's just trying to calm people down and maintain some skepticism towards all the narratives being thrown. He just wants people to think before they panic, pointing out that there could be much bigger ramifications if this situation grows to out of control.

I don't agree completely, but I can appreciate that he's just trying to evaluate things properly.

That doesn't represent the entire LGBT community, though. Yeah, those people are gross, but most gay/trans people aren't trying to force their sexuality on straight people and just want to live peacefully. In my experience the alt-right doesn't understand that and acts like every gay/trans person is a "degenerate" trying to advance the Gay Agenda.
