Any examples of the "make friends richer" shit that most like to throw around.

And plus, the EPA is just another distraction for climate change shit. Spending extra money on environmental problems that even though the world is getting hotter (but at a very minuscule rate) is kind of a bad use of money.

Yeah, who gives a crap about clean water and air?

Regulations plays a gigantic portion of it. Check out what the clean water act did.
True. You make a good point there that I agree with. I mean, after all, I didn't like what Trump did with the whole thing about curbing the Endangered Species Act, which was pretty crappy. So I'll give you that.

But still you haven't explained how his policies "make the rich richer".

You may be dumb enough to fall for "If you don't willingly give up control of large parts of your life to the government and pay higher taxes then that means you don't like clean air and water!" but I'm not.

How the hell is a government agency existing to ensure companies don't pollute our air and water giving up control of large parts of our life to the government?

Tax cuts for the rich make the rich richer. Touting an untested cure, that Trump has financial interest in, without evidence it works is trying to make himself richer.

Tax cuts (those tax cuts being for 82% of Americans by the way) help businesses stay open and be able to survive when corporate taxes and income taxes get too high. The economy moves faster than businesses, you realize that, right? Tax cuts are necessary for business owners and corporate. Not defending them, just stating the purpose of it.

Plus, it gives leeway for people in the middle class to be able to do a tax refund to get money back due to the cuts. That's pretty cool.

Let's see how it was rebuked or disproven?
Alright, it's worth a shot.

People get angry about the EPA guy all of the time but they never tell me why. They only get angry because the guy who was appointed to head up the EPA is a guy who runs an oil company or something, but they never explicitly state why else they're angry about him being appointed. Judging by the overall trends in air and water quality in the USA, there's been functionally no change at all since he was appointed and we're continuing on the samea downward trend in pollution we've had since the 1980s. If anything, things like CO2 emissions have been declining since 2014 and continue to decline even under this Mega-Polluter EPA man.

Lead levels, nitrogen dioxide, particulate matter (PM2.5), and sulfur dioxide are also continuing a downward trend. The only things that seem to be on the rise are carbon monoxide and particular matter (PM10) but the spike is negligible, comparable to the levels in 2013-2014, and still well beneath the National Standard.

I can't get very deep into "he wants to make the rich richer" because that just kind of sounds like a generic, information-less complaint, but I can say that all of the effort that was put into the tax cuts across the board benefited everyone, not just the mega-wealthy. If the mega-wealthy got a larger cut, that's because the mega-wealthy pay a smaller percentage in taxes, but they pay significantly more in a single tax season than you or I will pay into the system over the duration of our entire lives. It upsets people, but you can't hike taxes on the rich or they just pack their bags and leave. When they do that, the entire country suffers from the lack of their taxes paying into the system and all of us have to pay in even more to make up for the deficit.

Beyond that, it seems more to me like everyone in this country with a million dollars in their bank account actively hates him so I don't think he and the billionaire class are on the best of terms, anyways. Because most of his wealth is tied up in mutual funds, if the U.S. Economy hits the shitter, his net worth crashes and burns with the rest of it. He has every possible interest in helping the economy back onto its feet because if it goes down, so does every single stock that he owns.

I have no idea what that CNN article is bitching about though because I can't glean any context from it. The entire video they're using to complain about whatever he said includes nothing from his actual press hearing, it's just a bunch of talking heads patting each other on the back so I can't help you there. I can tell you that the idea that Trump "will profit from selling this cure" is bunk, though, considering that his investment in that Sanofi pharmaceutical company is being done through a mutual fund, and he owns very little stock in that company to begin with. He may own as little as $99 in the company.

Even Snopes gave that story a "Mostly False."

Then why did he rollback environmental regulations and not allow "climate change" and similar terms to be used? Didn't know that about the Covid thing, I will admit I was incorrect there. But Trump is still an asshat.

Corporations only get taxed on profits, not overall income. The whole "tax cuts help businesses stay open" is incredibly wrong. Besides, didn't you right wingers get all assmad about the national debt under Obama? What do you think helps bring that debt down? Hint: Taxes

And besides, you know what else keeps the debt down? Budget cuts, allotting money in the budget to pay for the debt, and lowering inflation. Maybe we can use some of the discretionary money saved for the military to pay off the debt.

This is where we'd have a substantial difference of opinion and no amount of me rambling would fix it. I don't believe "climate change" is in any way important and I'm much more interested in pollution. "Climate Change" means nothing to me; "Rising CO2, mercury leaking into the water and mass-deforestation" is tangible and meaningful. As long as all of those numbers don't start spiking dramatically, I can't bring myself to care about what people like the Climate Potato are screaming about because I'm not convinced that what they're screaming about is even real.

I don't expect you to agree with me there, though.

As for environmental regulations, it's probably because an enormous amount of them weren't even necessary and were needlessly hamstringing entire industries with red tape. If he hacked all of those off at the knees and "opened the flood gates" and none of the needles spiked, what exactly were all of those regulations doing?

So on that end, I disagree and disapprove of Tramp increasing the military budget and infrastructure budget.
As someone who used to serve on a obsolete, rusting tin can, I am wholly in favor of increasing the military budget. The Obama years were hard for the military because much needed maintenance kept getting deferred and personnel cuts meant there weren't enough people and the people you did have came to you knowing nothing because they cut money for training.

The American military was so poorly-funded during Obama's administration that the Marines had to routinely take used parts off of Air Force Museum pieces just to repair their vehicles. I will never forget that story and I'm still angry about it to this day. How in the name of Hell are we supposed to have an operational military if we can't even fund them enough to buy fucking hinges and force them to go rummaging around in a museum for spare parts?

I totally believe that story because several times I myself needed obsolete parts for the Perry class frigate I was on. NAVSUP ended up having to get them off of decommissioned ships in the mothball fleet.

The underlying problem in my case and also in that story you linked to is that those assets should have been able to be retired long before that was necessary. But without increasing the budget to replace them or reduce the world policing so that they aren't necessary, that's what happens.

Yeah, but my point is that in most cases I feel as if the U.S. influences and takes part in wars and territorial conflicts it really doesn't need to get into. Why should we have a say in the Israel-Palestine conflict when it has no affect on personally? Why should we get in the middle of the middle east? I'm an isolationist type of guy when it comes to war and I think staying out of conflicts we don't really need to get into saves money, saves lives, on everything that the military spends on from travel, arsenal, healthcare, maternity leave, food supply, shelter, equipment, clothing, and all of the other stuff in-between. The military probably wouldn't be so underfunded if our military wasn't fucking everywhere.

This is not a problem I have with Tramp exclusively. It's a problem I have with the course of American history from the time of Vietnam when Johnson got us into that to now with this fucking War on Terror. Tramp just hasn't done anything to be more isolationist. His vehement stance on immigration as well as the Wall and the deportations is a step in the right direction, I'd say. No one other president has enforced the idea of borders as much as he. Basically, on the stance of the military, I take the StoneToss approach:

Biden for sure.

Biden is a creepy asshole, don't get me wrong. He's really weird and handsy with women, and that is definitely not cool. However, Trump is no better in that regard. The guy admitted to intentionally walking in on teenage pageant contestants changing.

Biden also says stupid shit, but Trump says even stupider shit. Trump is a compulsive liar and anyone who still supports him is literally exceptional or just an asshole.

Biden will at least put competent people in his cabinet and with two or three supreme court seats becoming available 2020-24 (probably), unless you want insane fundie judges, you gotta vote Biden.
I want Biden to win so both the Woketards I hate will get politically curbstomped into the dirt and Rightards will go full BDS despite smugly mocking TDS for the past 4 years.

Think of the salt the delicious salt.
