IIRC, didn't he say he either never made it out of Midgar or barely progressed past Midgar? But the story sucks. Literal who shows up and kills the main antagonist. Bug story mechanics, not his fault dood.

Someone tipped him and mentioned he looked like Dr. Disrespect and DSP claimed that he "never seen any of his stuff" and guessed that he put on a "weird ass wig and a vest or something".
He, completely coincidentally, stopped wearing the glasses.

DSP was just baited into a question comparing his current getup to that of Dr. Disrespect. There were two great moments in his response:
1. "What's the difference between me wearing a vest and sunglasses and Dr. Disrepect? One is silly and stupid. The other is meant to attract kids." WTF?!
2. "I hear he wears some kind of stupid wig?" Says the guy from New England who lives in Seattle and wears a cowboy hat.

If it's true that he quit before getting to the death of Aerith or the reveal that Cloud isn't who he thinks he is then he has no grounding to criticize the plot and especially not the character development.
This is a man so in love with his own opinions that he will bulldoze right through blatant hypocrisy. For example he dismisses FF7 fandom as "it was their first FF game so they put it on a pedestal" but then he sucks FF6's dick endlessly and that was his first in the series.
He even said he didn't understand the ending of FF7 and left him thinking "waht tha fuck just happened?"

Hey, Phil. I know you read this thread every day, so I wanted to ask something. Not even trolling.
Why don't you play ranked Street Fighter online?
You wouldn't even need to tryhard. You're a former pro fighting game player (your words), and with that in mind you should be a C-level player in most of these games with fairly minimal effort. Ranked doesn't imply tryhard. You should be good enough to "chill" and still play decent matches against moderately skilled opponents.
As much as I shit on your EVO finish for all sorts of legitimate reasons, I don't have anything like that to my name. I've taken a number of games seriously like you did and the most I've gotten for my hard work is a couple of public ass poundings.
If you're worried about trolls sniping you, then just beat them. You're the former pro here, not them.
Anyway I'm getting bored of these Super Turbo lobbies. These streams are just... so... boring. Play ranked please. I can email you at DarkSydePhil@hotmail.com if you'd rather communicate on there

Edit: I missed the first stream because I didn't want DSP ruining FF7 for me. Has anyone wished DSP a "Happy Anniversary!" today? Did DSP mention during the first stream that today was his anniversary?
