Yeah but a loss is still a loss considering they not only have to deal with 4 more years of Trump but an additional 4 more years of trying to find someone that can unite and lead their base.

I'm pretty sure if Sanders had a rape accusation, no one would care and the witch hunt would be turned on the accuser.

Basically, like racism, rape has been so watered down from public alarm now because these days a tranny not being able to get a Nintendo ring at gamestop will classify it as rape on twitter. Every single political upstart, regardless of character will be accused of rape. And the majority of people who get raped will be ignored because it was by their black crackhead uncle or the like and not someone important.

Sadly it won't be the same as 2016. They truly believed then that it would be Her Turn and then they'd be on the home straight to Luxury Tranny Space Communism, only to have it all snatched away from them at the very last second. They'd also whipped themselves up into such a frenzy of Orange Man Bad that there was a degree of genuine belief that he would gas trannies and catapult anchor babies over the wall into Mexico as soon as he got into office.

This time, they have much less emotional investment in Biden winning, and whatever they say, they know deep down that Orange Man Bad has proven to be less bad than they'd believed, or claimed to believe. Therefore I foresee far less chimping out come November than there was in 2016, sorry to say.

That was more or less my point. The OP was talking about the effect on public opinion if Biden were tried and found not guilty of rape. I don't think it would lead to the widespread questioning of marginal rape allegations.

I'm pretty sure there's a way to occasionally be exonerated, where rather than just not being able to prove guilt, you conclusively prove innocence, but it's not common, for obvious reasons.

I'm done with this hashtag, but as one last gift: VocalFriez, a (pale) black Twitterer, has come under quite a bit of pressure for her refusal to vote for either Biden or Trump. Some are calling her white-privileged and a semi-literate Jesus freak. I fear that unless she changes her tone and unconditionally supports Biden, a Southern tree might soon bear some very strange fruit.
