I often wonder how people can exist while being this uncomfortable with their own minds. I mean I will get lonely if I don't interact with other people for a while, but I don't have any problem taking a vacation for a week or two by myself. How does someone function if their whole sense of self is defined by how other people react to you?

This is an anecdotal observation, but my impression is it's pretty common among the contemporary iteration of internet rightoids. Since troons are eternally online and tend to be ideological extremists engaged in permanent autistic warfare against the ideological extremists on the other side of the horseshoe, they might perceive it as way more widespread than it really is.
