Even if property values are high, I feel like we're still looking at something in the lower six figures, and Onision likely made a decent amount of money off YT at his peak. The only stuff he seems to have spent it on is stuff like the Tesla. Could he have paid off his house? If he is on a 10 year mortgage it's very possible I think.

It'd be interesting if more research minded Kiwis were able to dig up any information on the house back when he was buying it, like how much it was listed for, or how much similar houses are selling for now.

I completely agree. The house is a very nice asset and he probably has some cash stored away. He was buying additional property next to his house a few months ago. So there is something safed up. What I want to hint at is that the house is nice and so on. But he can't sell his window and get a sum of money on his bank account for it. He is not generating income through it. He only does that if he house goes up in value and he sells it.

So his income stream took a hit. And he is used to a higher income stream. He gets rather expensive status symbols like the Tesla. Which less money these purchases will become harder to obtain.

Zillow places the estimated value of the property at $586,528 and indicates the property was sold (?) in 2018 for $489,719. I'm unsure of the reliability of this information, but it actually seems like a pretty accurate estimate based on location and house size. In places like Washington, California, etc. the quality and age of the house and land itself doesn't matter. Realtors can and will sell a shitty swamp shack for half a mill because it's close to Seattle or Los Angeles or New York City.
