I just thought the video was interesting. MedCram made a video about hydrotherapy too, with similar ideas.

But you're right. Generally speaking, taking medical advice from autists on a dodgy internet forum often blamed for driving mentally ill people to suicide is very, very unwise. Please consult your physician if you've got a fever or dry cough and don't follow advice from me. Or from MedCram or Dr. Campbell to be honest.

Back in the old days of the Internet, there was the acronym IANAL for 'I am not a lawyer' and the phrase 'I am a lawyer, but I'm not your lawyer'. In that spirit, I am not a doctor and Campbell and MedCram are doctors but they're not your doctor. And in this case you get the impression that they're just musing about possible treatments and not advocating any treatment. At the end of Campbell's video, he says if you have a fever 'Ask your doctor about paracetamol. See if he thinks that damping down fever might be counterproductive'. That leaves open the possibility that your doctor might say 'In some cases yeah, but not in yours because [reasons]'.

I'm still going to post videos I find interesting though. But you're right that they shouldn't be considered 'advice'.

Also, I just got my grubby little hands on the checkboxes as to what opens and what stays closed. Long story short. Things that stay closed.
-tv stations (they are allowed to operate but no audience can go)
-hairdressers (they can work going to people's homes but not open the shop)
-"mercadillo" is like a market for chinks moors and gypsies to sell their discount and typically illegal shit. Like a bazar, dunno if that's the right term.
-specialized technical services (again they can go work for you but you gotta call them by phone. I really don't know why, normal shops are opening but these aren't)
-communal areas
-Hotels and campings
-Hardware and Paint stores (again I have no fucking clue why only these. I can go to toys are us but I gotta buy fridges online. What the fuck?)
-going for a walk
-immobiliaries
-travel agencies
-civil or religious ceremonies (except funeraries with up to 3 people), priests are specifically allowed to work. But if they give mass it's gotta be video, no congregations.
Everything else started being open yesterday. I didn't get the doc till now because I'm a lazy bastard.

btw I caught the virus and as a 29 healthy but a smoker it was pretty fucked up my test came back after I was admited to a Canadian hospital and they told me my immune system "Overreacted" which is what put me there. Now im fine and was released after 3 days. I have no serious symptoms other then my chest and lower back are very sore. So what happened was for around a 6 hour period my chest started spazzing out kinda like a gripping clutch to my heart happened then a spike in temperature which lasted around an hour or so it subsided. then i had a major full body inflammatory response which was scary and lasted around 30 seconds. After that the only way I could explain it is "I forgot how to breath" I had to really try to breath not that my lungs couldn't handle it but my brain not operating normally i had to remember to breath in so 50% of my attention was for breathing I would go 6 seconds without remembering to breath back in, this took several hours to correct before I was brave enough to sleep. I slept 15 hours and woke up shaky but stable and I feel fine now and even started to smoke again but this shit is fucked up.

forgot to mention i felt fine hours before like normal shit crept up out of nowhere i was asymptomatic.

The Sudden onset from feeling normal to fucked up was like 1 hour which would explain some vids of people just dropping in public thankfully I was at home and had my phone near me. That being said if their are less hearty individuals or they live alone means lots of dead people that didn't get to a hospital.

Didn't have much time today so I'll just drop a brief update from Poland. Barely over 300 new cases today, which is the lowest in like ten days and by far the lowest percentage increase so far. And we've approved convalescent plasma therapy, to commence in two days. Hope it kicks corona's ass.

Ya I don't think that idiot they interviewed from WIRED or whatever has any clue. I don't think this will be a "APP" but built in to the OS. This is a collaborative thing between Apple and Google. There is zero need to use a 3rd party app.
It also looks like it will use Bluetooth rather then normal location services to see if your in range of someone with the E-coof.

This can still be used to track people. If you go to the park and some dumb boomer there actually has location services turned on and his phone pings your phone over BT then they know you are also at that park.

If you must have a smartphone and want to keep the os up to date then just set the E-coof flag to positive. Once their phones starts telling them every day to self isolate because they bumped in to someone with the coof then maybe they will start to question their blind faith in tech.

RIP battery life. I keep bluetooth off unless it's needed due to what it does to battery life. If bluetooth becomes required to be on at all times, I'm rooting my phone. Or getting a flip phone.

It should be a fucking crime. It's a crime to intentionally cut someone's arm off why the fuck is it not a crime to cut theit immune system off? It's arguably worse.

Someone should probably tell Talcum X that US Nuclear Super Carriers function as Fleet Hospital Ships and contain fully equipped state of the art hospitals and care. They can provide some of the best levels of care in the world. This is what always rings false to me about the whole Roosevelt story.

Also, what sort of Navy Crewman do you think would be talking to Talcum X? And assuming he’s real(he isn’t Talcum X has a history of prevarication.) does anyone honestly think said crewman would have actual knowledge of crew health? At best he’s talking to the guy who scrubs the pots in the galley.

Like I said, let them do their thing. Go jump up and down in the name of Jesus. Go to parks, crap in a public loo, eat off a raw buffet. Do it. But don't force me into it.

Don't reopen the school and obligate my kids to attend, because "the whole world can't shut down." Don't obligate my husband to go back to work at the office and come into contact with thousands of people again, per week, all in the name of opening up the economy again, and exercising our right to do whatever the fuck we want, with no regard for anybody.

Because for a lot of people COVID 19 is a death sentence. You also want to get kids sick, who recover with testicles and ovaries like marbles for the rest of their lives? Or young adults who aspire to have a family and get married, only to find themselves on dialysis, reproductively sterile, with weak lung function?

Thing is, we had a fucking chance. Young people aren't going to have the choices we have, even if we opened the world up. Opening things up and letting nature take its course will do nothing but kill people, maim others, sterilize some, affect the brains of others. Those who recover completely get a total shit sandwich of having less family income due to disability, loss of social and emotional support, and a dried up wellspring of opportunities because sane people still won't go out.

So for those of us who have lived our own fucking lives and had choices to make available to us awesome. Sure, throw youth on the front lines, about 2/1000 will, in fact die. Many more will live with complications.

I could fucking croak tomorrow. Catch is, I won't. It will be somebody else's mom. Or kid. Or aunt, uncle, friend ... grandparent.

So please, it is easy to volunteer other people into getting infected, because you want to exercise your rights. But if you are over 30 and under 65 with no pre-x then all the more power to you.

But please, try to respect the fact that a lot of people are really afraid of this thing for damn good, evidence-based reasons and are holding out up until more information or a vaccine comes in. So what you consider essential for exercising your rights is a great source of anxiety for others.

The world is not shutting down either. Only non-essential activities and services and schools. Far cry from "the whole world."
