At this point it's not a question of if Youtube's going to wind up fucking itself into oblivion, but when.
Youtube has this history of allowing blatant violations of its own established rules for certain users - even allowing them to outright monetize that shit, despite violating their own established rules - while cracking down to a ridiculous degree for non-violations.
That Korean psychopath that tortures and eats live animals has her entire channel monetized, despite countless complaints. That one dude who tortured and murdered cats on his channel is also fully monetized, and both despite very clear rules we can point to that say you can't put such content on Youtube. Meanwhile Youtube fucking mass-banned fucking Battlebots videos 10 months ago for animal cruelty, routinely demonetizes channels covering live-catch mousetraps, and routinely gives indefinite bans for content that doesn't violate any rules whatsoever.
Lu's just the latest and most blatant twist and it's patently obvious someone's protecting her.

Considering Dailymotion also has a fingerprint system; call me doubtful.
Is it really that hard to lie when filling a claim out? They even ask for less info than YouTube does, they also don't clarify how many times you can get in trouble before they ban you.
The main thing Dailymotion has over YouTube is their monetization system runs through the website. Not some off site group. Meaning you can get kicked off, make a new account and get money again.
It's very long, but if I read it correctly this is a case from Dailymotion in 2007 over copyright infringement.

But are we going create a new thread every time some eceleb does something retarded or whatever is latest hottest YouTube Drama is going around, gossiping like a couple of Beverly's Hills Schoolgirls with said eceleb, then lose interest after a couple of weeks.

She's a bit different from the typical eceleb, she's got form going back a couple of years though. You're right she is boring, her content is inane and a bit of a chore to watch ( you've got to appreciate DSP for actually investing some emotion in his streams, so they're at least worth clipping) . I think there's a resolution coming though, if TokyoTv actually decide to take legal action, YouTube aren't going to be able to help her. People screaming about her on Social Media are less concerned about trolling her than they are getting @TVTOKYO_PR 's attention (typical Japanese company they have minimal English social media).
Does anyone know if she actually filed an appeal when she had got her earlier copyright strikes?
