I don't want to dig through the whole Anisa Jomha thread but he was whiteknighting Ian over the whole simp thing and implying it's a sexist response from fans rather than people just calling him a cuck and a simp because he is. It's the exact same reaction that Ethan is having, so it's a little bit funny to see him basically reacting to it an entirely different way the second h3h3 is on the same side as him.
Afaik he was just calling out those who are actually worshipping Ian. He even mentioned the terms "mortal", "fallible as them" etc. and even retweeted a tweet that showcased Ian's stupid behavior which implies he isn't even whiteknighting Ian, and actually implies he knows even Ian is flawed himself. The only thing I disagree is that Emp calling Ian's response as "respecting women".

Oh man nobody has covered some of yesterday's Ethan Klein drama yet. Unfortunately a lot of the tweets are deleted now because Trish is a manic freak, but some were still cached on my mobile device so I went through and grabbed screenshots. Basically, Trisha Paytas was giving both Ethan and Hila a ton of shit because they, according to her, went out of their way to meddle in and ruin the relationship she had with Hila's brother Moses. It resulted in some hilarious shit flinging from her where she called out the fact that Hila is boring as hell, never talks and won't stand up for herself and Ethan is disingenuous. Here's the video she uploaded, currently sitting at 250k views with a 50/50 like/dislike ratio.

Most important thing to note in my opinion would be her claims that while she was on the H3 podcast doing the bachelor segment in an attempt to actually find a partner, the interns they had filtering the good applicants from the bad were purposefully doing so to show her the shittiest, least compatible people they could just for a laugh. Honestly, I don't know the validity of this but I can say that all of the people who applied that we saw were complete shitters, obviously not serious and just memeing so they could get on the H3 podcast. In no way were any of them taking this seriously, one guy had his girlfriend recording for fuck's sake. If they were billing this as a real attempt to get a partner for Trish then they were obviously just wasting her time.

Another interesting detail is that according to her, she didn't pursue Moses at all. Moses came to her asking to hook up and she just agreed to it. Supposedly she was distraught after the last podcast episode she was on because in her mind she was being treated like a big joke, so she took the opportunity with Moses to at least get a date out of it all. Their relationship lasted about two weeks during which they were inseparable and ended unceremoniously with Moses distancing himself from her. Her thought is that this is due to all of the meddling Ethan and Hila were doing, she claims they were regularly texting Moses and begging him to stop seeing her.

Shortly after this video went live Ethan posts this boomer-ass meme to his Twitter.

Here was Trish's response, linking to her video about them.

And shit flinging ensues, she begins rapidly responding to his tweets starting with this.

Everybody's favorite gnome decided to come in and take a jab at Ethan too.

There was a lot more to show that is now unfortunately lost to time as she deleted them all quickly after posting. From memory, I mostly recall her going through and responding to people shit talking Ethan in the replies and agreeing with them. One I found particularly funny was somebody saying she was brutal for going after Hila too instead of just Ethan, so she called Hila out for never speaking her mind and being unintelligible when she does. She also kept tagging Moses's twitter account and asking for him to come back and give her his dick again. She had a surprising amount of support in the replies, probably just from her own fans but still.

It's a lot of shit-tier high school drama but it's funny seeing Ethan ganged up on again.

Was just about to post this. Pretty sure this has obviously nothing to do with the video talking about Ethans donation shaming. Clever for him to use a hashtag, just to get more brand awareness out of it.
And hey, Teddyfresh has some new stock too!
Sometimes, the memes about the tribe aren’t just memes.

Yeah this is definitely a response to the SomeOrdinaryGamers video, Mutahar bullied them into giving out 100k. What a king. It's also good to note that this is just a huge publicity stunt designed to skyrocket Ethan's follower count so he can market Teddy Fresh to a wider audience. If he really gave a shit he would donate 100k to charity instead, this way he gets to spread out the publicity over the course of three months. Das juden.

I didn't think Muta had that kind of clout. I'll enjoy his good guy status until the inevitable happens. You can't play the moral high ground game for too long before your dirty laundry comes out. I hung around a bit for some of the podcast episodes up to a bit after the Bill Burr fiasco. Ethan, post podcast & Gokanaru video, is so mean-spirited and two faced that it affects Classic H3.

It's obvious the wanker is doing raffle to safe phase, if he wanted efectiveness he could have gone with any normal charity work. Why not just sponsor children/ families if he really wants to help on a personal basis? Pick random cases in his very own community.

Is it really that fucking hard to just donate to a charity? Why make a raffle? For all they know the winners could be greedy rich people who didn't need any financial assistance to begin with. "We only ask that you're above 18 and truly need the money" this will surely work, no one lies on the internet and they asked nicely!

Why make this so complicated?

Leafy made a video making fun of Ethan's response to the iDubbbz situation.
hindsight only makes Hila's nervous looks at Ethan even funnier.

Assuming this isn't 100% manic rambling from her, she fuckin destroyed Ethan's whole "YOU'RE UNFUCKABLE" speech, since he's apparently in a sexless marriage now.

Fucking. poetry.

so if I'm understanding this correctly:
h3h3 used to be funny, but he pinned his heart to e-celeb fame and now he's experiencing a fall from grace. idubbz's whole routine was being a loser ironically, until he became an actual loser.
Let's not pretend Ian wasn't always a loser even in his guise of irony.

Ethan became depressed literally because he was so succesful. Might be me but I think his brand of humor early on showed that he felt inadequate and the community took it as humbleness, when he actively tried to branch out the worst aspects of his personality came to light.
Idubbbz might look like a nerd but he was mostly known as the good bully, the guy that took the trash. His facade of being someone more self-aware fell of the moment people took notice of how much of a shitstain Anisa is and how she is the same type of thot Ian would have called out. In retrospective, with all we know now almost all the Content Cops were made out of petty beef between creators.
If you can take anything from this contorversies is that creators are just normal people and they are prone to "fail" to you. Semantics wise is not "I'm just like you", a more correct phrase would be "You are just like me", as in we all could be in the spotlight and fail the purity test. Pewds, JonTron and De Franco were blamed for being a "fascist pipeline", the Kleins became the very cringe they destroyed in the past, Leafy and the like were consumed by their own fanbases (likely the path for Idubbbz) and if that doesn't happen you simply are forgotten and that could be worse. Only exception could be Joji Miller but you rarely see his background playing a role on his music career. Just quit when you are ahead.

Idubbzs was always a loser, but he knew what he was and used to roll with it

They realize that Jeff Bezo's donation was two birds one stone right? His donation was both "good karma" and a tax write off. Donating to people via paypal is likely not gonna be considered such. Not to mention, $500 to one person is maybe a drop in the bucket for their overall needs. As mentioned before, it's a cheap and lazy means of saving what little face you might have, if any.

Only exception could be Joji Miller

Even then, Joji's music isn't exactly mainstream, nor does most of his music really stand out past R&B that makes you feel. Not to mention, Joji only stopped because it was literally killing him to continue making youtube content.

Why make this so complicated?

Because like the Fupa fund he can get free press for doing it and then never has to part with his money. Think about it he can claim the raffle was given out but that he can't tell who received it or how much they received. Worst case scenario he needs to part with is a few grand and get those people to tweet how much he helped them and he can just claim he gave away everything else to people who wanted to keep it secret.

Got to love his timing, Leafy takes a pot shot, Mudahar fires across the bow and ethan realizes tides are changing and tries to reignite the fame he got via the fupa fund.

You don't actually believe that, do you?

The excuse I've seen thrown around was that doing the Filthy Frank voice was killing his throat/voice. Which is a load of bullshit. George is a smoker, which is damaging him far more than doing a funny voice on YouTube videos will. The other is that he immediately went to become an emo rap shitter. Any single tour for a musician will kill your throat far more than doing the Filthy Frank voice.

The truth of the matter is that he grew tired of the character. If he wanted to continue he could have just changed the voice into something not as difficult to produce. No one would care. He got a record deal and found that to be more fulfilling. That's all.

I kind of do, because he's mentioned several times he's suffered from stress induced seizures resulting from nuerological issues he refused to discuss. I will agree that yes, touring as a musician will do more damage to ones throat combined with smoking (Which, I doubt helps his seizure problems but w/e, we all have our crutches), but considering all the drama that's started to surface? I'm surprised he dealt with things on youtube as long as he had.

In any case, he got out while still (somewhat) ahead. Originally his channel was always about getting started as a singer (hence dizastamusic or wtfever the name was) and thats why he made the Filthy Frank/TooDamnFilthy channels.

He had his fun, built an audience, shot the shit, but eventually it had to end, and YouTube went hard to precipitate it. Thankfully he did it before it got to where it is now and before people like Ethan had the chance to fuck him over.

I may not like his stuff (haven't tried it) but nonetheless, he's successful and on the grind he wanted, so to me it's a happy ending. God knows what sort of garbage the show was going to be if he kept going while getting less returns, and not having much of an envelope left to push (short of going full CKY/WildBoys/Jackass)
