It was so mindnumbingly tedious, it just went on and on and I gave up at about a third way into the text. My overall suspicion is that a lot of what's written here is exaggeration, distortion, revisionism, hallucination and wishful thinking. I am not suggesting he's lying about the things he did online or offline - hell, there are cis women out there who did all that and worse - but I think that what we are reading here is a grain of truth that has developed over the years into a gigantic mass of exaggeration, glamorization and self-deception. There are several glaring gaps in the narrative that this self-declared genius must assume his audience is too stupid to notice:
1) He mentions in passing that he was a child model. Who made him model? Was it his mom? Was she a stereotypical showbiz mom? Notice how the doesn't say anything about his parents other than that he was a child prodigy and his parents were stupid by comparison? But now he has bimbofied himself, so he's presumably even more stupid than his parents now. Presumably his ideas about bimbofication and feminity do not originate in online pornography but go further back? Again, he doesn't disclose anything about his mother or how he got into modelling as a child, but if his mom was a stereotypical showbiz mom and superficial, you can see where his bimbofication ideas came from. If my gut feeling is right, those were there long before he got online. That said, one of my favourite parts in this story was when Juliette, the self-declared genius and prodigy, nevertheless ended up dating an asshole and then his stupid simpletons of a mom and dad had to come and bail him out of that abusive relationship.
2) He doesn't disclose when he got on HRT or how. He just offhandedly mentions, smack dab in the middle of his narrative, that he was on HRT and feminizing. How did he get those hormones? Was he actually diagnosed with gender dysphoria? Or is he another LARPer who got internet hormones? I know from watching vintage Youtube videos and from listening to podcasts from the aughts that trannies used to get their hormones from a blackmarket site called OnlinePharmacy, so how did Juliette get his?
3) A lot of what he's describing here is stereotypical gay chemsex, however he doesn't disclose anything about his own drug use, whether he developped any dependencies, whether he went into rehab, etc. I find that highly suspicious given Mandy's own admissions that he was "a daily ketamin user" for half a decade. Junkies and addicts usually want to get others around them to use drugs with them, so I cannot imagine Juliette not getting into drug culture at some point in this voyage.
4) He never talks about getting tested for STDs, catching anything, passing anything, an outbreak in his BDSM community, anyone else getting sick, anyone getting pregnant. He makes it seem like a neverending gangbang with no material consequences. It's just not an honest or realistic narrative. People who are honest about commune life will admit to outbreaks. Either he's sociopathic to the point where he doesn't care or he's hiding that information from the reader.
Another reason why I don't trust his narrative is because I too got online in the 1990s (not as early as Juliette, let's say about 4 years to half a decade later) and I know from personal experience that some of the claims he is making here regarding online culture in the 1990s are flatout wrong. Mostly this is due to his self-centered and self-obsessed narrative but if he's willing to twist and bent the historical narrative to his favour and mislead his audience about the online stuff, he's probably doing the same thing with the sexual narrative. Again, look at the glaring gaps in the familial and personal narrative I pointed to above. He assumes his audience is too dumb to notice because he has convinced himself that he's a genius and everyone around him is too simple to see through his mindgame.
He goes out of his way to give out technical details about what it was like to go online before the age of fast cable and wireless communications. Not only is this an amazingly boring narrative and is the grandstanding about this unbearably narcissistic. He thinks he's some kind of an uberhacker just because he was using telnet to go online and had a Unix shell account at your local ISP in the early 1990s, the fact is that lots of people did at the time. He makes his online exploration seem like he's discovering the continent of Antarctica but it's a very predictable narrative. While I was reading the beginning I had already predicted he was eventually going to mention alt.binaries.erotica pages before he disclosed that indeed, he ended up there. The reason I predicted this is because that's where a lot of horny teenagers and adolescents looking for porn online eventually ended up in the 1990s. Juliette makes his discovery of the binary USENET groups seem like the quest for the holy grail, but it was more of a public secret that if you wanted to download pirated porn, it was available from the binary groups on USENET.
The rest of what I read at this point was basically a story of a 1990s teenager being consumed by their internet porn addiction. The sexting or cybersex sessions he was having with strangers taught him how to convincingly spin tall tales, but by the time he had to actually meet all his fellow perverts IRL, he desperately wanted to impress and get fucked (since he admits he had no friends or crushes IRL), so he had to catch up with the lies he told online rather than be honest with himself and others.
Once he moves from online experimentation to IRL experimentation I basically gave up reading because the neverending stream of gross and degrading sex was too boring to maintain my interest. The idea of this post was to explain how he bimbofied himself, which I assumed was in reference to his looks, but he goes on and on about his outrageous sexlife and I don't see what the point is other than macho braggadocio. I am assuming his intent was to come across as thoughtful and cerebral about his sociopathy, but he actually comes across as obsessed and full of himself to the point of becoming antisocial. Using public transport while not showering and stinking of sperm is spectacularly inconsiderate, antisocial and disgusting as you're literally a walking biohazard site. It's when people become that selfish and antisocial in the name of sexual liberation that I stop giving a fuck and basically hope for their quick demise. While I was reading this part of his brainpuke autobiography I thought of all the TERFs who insist that guys like this just need therapy and I had to laugh to myself. Can you seriously read a post like that and assume that therapy will put this semi-human out of their misery? No, this creature has bought himself (or rather his alleged sugar daddy has) a one-way ticket to oblivion and all he wants at this point is a chorus of online cheerleaders, which he will surely find on Reddit.
