Gross Anna Johnson / The Fit Vegan Ginger / Creation Nutrition / Anna's Organics Lynchburg - Jesus Freak, orthorexic, creator of vegan food monstrosities, munches to avoid getting a job

Could she walk any faster? Come on Anna, theres calories to burn!

Claims 4 abdominal surgeries, which is 2 more than just the tummy butthole. Is she including them trying to flush out all the shit she packed in there?! Blames CF, again, for so many surgeries and so many hospital days.

Kidney failure, liver failure, spinal cord injury, pancreatitis x2, broken bones, and then the stomach butthole - gotta collect them all!

Shilling a supplement for 'cellular healing'. Falling for another con yet again, probably selling it for a cut.

"A lot of new brain cells to share" - No.

Theres so much gold in that second video, holy milk!

Skeletor is back to walking through cemeteries, her natural habitat.

Also, the way she pronounces "adrenaline." :story:

EDIT: Also, in the "I'm back" video, around 1:20, she implies that her "doctorate" is from "the university [she] was attending" (i.e. NVU), rather than the New Eden School of Natural Health and Herbal Studies.

She's such a manipulative bitch. The cutesy little intro has "cystic fibrosis fighter" illustrated with a photo of her in hospital, with all the scary tubes... and she knows very well it's not a photo showing her "cystic fibrosis" in any way, it was taken after her stoma surgery.
Also, what a choice for a "wellness" channel to have her own photos in the intro, instead of, idk, anything wellness related.
It's super easy to tell which photos are older and which are recent, because she looks so much healthier in the old ones.

"I always stress it with my patients..." sure you do, you have so many :story: She keeps contradicting herself here. In the first video she talks about talking to her patients, then she says that she stopped meeting clients last year and is just going back to this now, and then she mentions something about all her patients enjoying that one supplement or something.

She sounds like she's about to cry for most of the first video. In the second one she states she now have a lot more free time on her hands because of all the crazy quarantine stuff right now - as if she was busy before. Now she's planning to not only record videos, but also live streams. This should be fun!

She says she has an permanent ostomy bag and that she... "would rather not explain what it is" :story: Oh dear. Tired of the new toy already?

At the end she mentions skating again and "preparing to compete".

That Intro is longer than many tv shows intros. It's 55s. House MD's is 30s. 90210 was 1,30 because the cast were 8 people. It's supposed to be a short intro to your video, Anna, not a biopic.

I'm sure she spent a very long time on that intro and loves it to bits. It projects every lie that she wants people to believe, all while upbeat music plays. I can see her sitting there playing it over and over to convince herself it's all true.

But you're right about her taking forever to get to a point. I clicked into the middle of the second one because the exercise purge footage was miked so poorly I couldn't understand it. She spent several minutes talking about how her videos were going to be on Wednesdays, either the first or last Wednesday, pre-recorded or live... and she never decided on anything. People aren't going to sit still for all that blather.

For some reason I am very aggravated by people who suck their teeth or smack their lips. In the I'm back! Video, I counted 55 times that she did it before I even tapped out of the 22 minute long video at around 15 minutes. I didn't even count the times she did it softly. Virgo Rouge does it too, it drives me crazy.
I could barely watch her wellness Wednesday powerwalk and talk. I quit when she blamed being out of breath on her "little CF lungs." No, it's because you're speedwalking maniacally around a cemetery and holding your arm up talking to your camera you silly woman.

Oh hey, Anna's finally uploaded that Wellness Wednesday video she promised would be up eight days ago?

Perfesser Faggot Q. Boredom logs into zoom, forgets to change the epic background from D&D last night, now appears in a goddamn Buzzfeed list:
> Anna says she asked for topics to cover for Wellness Wednesdays, and by far and away, the most-requested topic was adrenal fatigue.
One person left a single Facebook comment, which is no longer public.

> Anna says, first of all, adrenal fatigue doesn't exist! There's no such thing as adrenal fatigue. There's a thing called hypoadrenism, also called adrenal insufficiency.
Please recall a WELLNESS WEDNESDAY video Anna uploaded on February 7, 2018, entitled FIGHTING ADRENAL FATIGUE, in which she claimed it was a real thing for about 20 minutes. She also made a video about how dry fasting is a great idea, even though it personally didn't work for her because she had adrenal fatigue. I wonder if she still believes "parathyroid weakness" is a real thing.

> Anna says, actually, it is a little confusing because there are three stages of adrenal insufficiency - when people talk about "adrenal fatigue," they are referring to the first stage of adrenal insufficiency.
Yeah, that's how this goalpost-shifty naturopathic quackery tends to work. Baffle 'em with science-adjacent jargon, convince 'em that common discomforts of everyday living mean they're in the early stages of a fatal disease, and get 'em to fork over some money for worthless nostrums and useless advice.

> She always stresses with her patients not to call it adrenal fatigue, because that's not a real thing and doctors won't take you seriously.
One suspects Dr. Anna Ruth Johnson ND, CNS knows this because she herself cried adrenal fatigue and was shut down by someone with real medical knowledge.

> Anna says the 3 stages are the 3 severity levels of adrenal insufficiency, and while it can be caused by many different things, the root cause always comes down to one thing - stress.
In real life, adrenal insufficiency is a real, life-threatening medical condition that can be diagnosed by real blood tests by real doctors and treated with real medications. It may be classified as primary, secondary or tertiary, resulting from diseases affecting the adrenal cortex, the anterior pituitary gland or the hypothalamus, respectively.

> Anna says stress is kind of a vague term these days, meaning there are a lot of sources of stress, physical or emotional. The body processes and reacts to stress from - say - a 16 mile run the same way it would process stress from someone holding a gun to your head. All your body knows is that you have a stressor that needs to be dealt with.
The fuck?

...wait, this actually kind of makes sense. Imagine an eating disorder specialist sitting her down and saying, "Ms. Johnson, every time you go out for a 16 mile run, it is like you are holding a gun to your head and playing Russian roulette. The human body can't take this kind of stress forever. You're putting your life at risk." And then you run it through Anna's stupid filter and this is what you get.

>Anna, who hates it when presenters ramble on and on, says prolonged periods of stress, or chronic stress, lead to chronically elevated cortisol. She apologizes for being a "little CF-lung-y" before specifying that adrenal glands respond to stress by secreting cortisol. So, if you have chronic stress for any reason, not getting enough nourishment, or a high stress job, or overexercising, you get to a point where your body can no longer produce the cortisol you need and you start feeling tired all the time, wake up puffy, and start retaining water. You will see these signs before you get to total adrenal burnout. If you feel irritable and can't lose weight, this means you have chronically elevated cortisol. All of this is to say that you have to know what stage you're in before you try to think about treatments and remedies for your insufficient adrenal glands. There are a lot of different remedies like phosphorylated serine and different herbs, but it really matters what stage of adrenal insufficiency you're in before you try to address treatments. In one phase, you need to give your body a boost to help produce more cortisol, in other phases, you want to tell it to calm down and lower the cortisol. So it's really important you work with a practitioner who can recognize the signs and symptoms of what phase of adrenal insufficiency you are in.
A diagnosis of adrenal insufficiency is made by testing for blood cortisol levels and confirming that they are inappropriately low. By definition, too much cortisol is not a sign or symptom of adrenal insufficiency.

Serine is an amino acid that can either be obtained directly through food, or produced from other amino acids by the human body. It's regarded as safe to consume, but per the FDA, it's not approved to treat any condition or disease.

And hey, can you guess a known side effect to serine supplements?

It's "diarrhea," because of course it is.

Cute, too, how Anna attributes feelings of irritability when she can't lose weight to elevated cortisol, as opposed to recognizing these feelings as a product of her eating disorder.

> Anna says it's very rare to have adrenal insufficiency caused by genetics or a disease. You could have an adrenal tumor that is constantly secreting cortisol, or stimulating your adrenal gland to secrete cortisol. You want to be working with a practitioner who knows - you know - who knows about adrenal insufficiency. Don't listen to anyone who calls it adrenal fatigue!
Don't listen to Anna. She's an idiot who can never admit when she's wrong.

> Anna hopes this was helpful and her out-of-breathness was not too distracting. If you have any more questions for her, shoot her an email!
Do not.

> Oh! She's back! Anna quickly wants to add some things you can do to nourish your adrenal glands. She has taken extensive coursework in nutritional biochemistry and nutritional therapy -
- paying tens of thousands of dollars to fake scam schools and con men -

> and is strongly of the philosophy that all "dis-ease" in the body can be traced back to a nutritional deficiency.
yeah, no.

> Anna who hates it when presenters never get to the point, says, if you give your adrenal glands what they need to function correctly, they will function correctly without doing all of this "treatment, like take this herb or take this supplement or etcetera." The nutrients that are important for the adrenal glands are electrolytes like sodium, calcium, potassium, magnesium, phosphorous, um, but, yeah the sodium and potassium are the two big ones. With the electrolytes come adequate hydration.

Another big one is vitamin C, which is interesting, because when we think about exercise, you know, adrenal insufficiency, you know, she loves getting into this because the entire body, it's all connected. All of our systems are connected. The adrenal glands have a unique relationship with the nervous system, and you know, and in a lot of ways, all glandular systems too. If your pituitary gland in the brain is not working properly, it will not signal to the thyroid to secrete thyroid hormone - you know, it's all connected.

When we exercise or experience prolonged stress and cortisol is chronically elevated, it's hard on the immune system. And most of us know that one of the number one things we can do to nourish or boost our immune systems is taking vitamin C. It's one of the most important nutrients for the adrenal glands. These are the big three that are kind of just across the board that are going to help anyone with adrenal issues, like chronic fatigue, POTS, just a lot of dysautonomia, a lot of different adrenal gland issues or issues that stem back to problems with the adrenal glands.
(1) Electrolytes, and (2) Vitamin C. Three things.

And far, far upthread, we've already noted that Anna's personal claims of suffering from POTS dysautonomia corresponded to times when she probably just felt lightheaded and unsteady on her feet from underfueling and overtraining. Plus ca change, plus c'est la meme chose.

> Anna urges people to proceed with caution when getting into adrenal problem treatments, like herbs and specific supplements, because you really need to know what stage of adrenal insufficiency you're in, and the solutions you need are so very different. Buy her Adrenal Health 101 ebook! Only $10!
Everything she is saying is bad and wrong. Nobody should waste their money.

Anna gives me major repressed gay vibes. Mutilating the flesh over forbidden desires?

She shouldn't even be outside. She's extremely vulnerable to covid, having all the diseases she claims to have. This isn't because the government tells you too, but because you should protect your health.

She has anorexia and two assholes. Definitely high-risk.

Unless she wants other cf patients as clients I didn't get the induction either

She doesn't want patients, she wants enablers and people's pity. The whole "i'm a doctor!" shtick is to make herself an expert in her pseudo-diseases and avoid people asking awkward questions because she knows better.

> Anna says stress is kind of a vague term these days, meaning there are a lot of sources of stress, physical or emotional. The body processes and reacts to stress from - say - a 16 mile run the same way it would process stress from someone holding a gun to your head. This sounds like a very good excuse to tell mom she can't make her own bed because "MOM, I HAVE PTSD, MOM!".

It's true stress affects people different and that there are different levels of stress (from chronic to normal levels the body can endure), but I doubt she has any or has had any ever. Actual stress to the point it affects your body, would give her a different array of symptoms that she would be bragging about online.

Great writeups! She looks horrid, and I am not saying this to be a bitch. Who takes health advice from a person who looks like a walking corpse? Also, all the other doctors on YT tend to dress and groom themselves to look like professionals. She looks like she rolled out of bed. I also don't get why she would record a supposedly educational video while power walking. But good news YouTube, she's back! I wonder how many people were anticipating her grand return.

Professor Boredom Q. Faggot's course is my favorite. I'll never skip your class.

I have a sneaking suspicion that she is under some increased pressure to lessen her social media behavior. Recording while 'exercising' is both a performative health act and also gets her away from her [strike]parole officer[/strike] mother when she is doing something that she might not supposed to be doing.

Sigh. Anna's back out for her daily 5 am exercise purges. Earth Mom declares this BEAUTIFUL, just like her goblin faced adult daughter who sprays shit all over the furniture. There's no hope for either of them.

I think Earth Mom is desperately trying to bolster up Anna's self-esteem.
