Like the post said, the worst part of them trying to keep that one safe is that there's already porn of the show despite the characters being explicitly underage. I was in places where people were talking about it and there was already giggling about the concept (magical girl from another dimension has to live with awkward teenage boy) so that should say something.

Something I learned about Trans Visibility Day is that apparently I'm following way more transgender people than I thought.

I'm seeing a lot of cis people posting selfies for TDOV and it hurts my heart.

Knowing that those who pull sparklegender shit are actively forcing trans/nb people out of their own spaces, for the sake of making it all about them instead, literally hurts my god damn heart.

I'm gettin' a bit feelsy here but seeing a bunch of cis people posting selfies with it pronouns or themed pronouns makes me want to cry. The trans movement has tried so hard, for decades, for its people to NOT be seen as dehumanized objects. It's tried so hard, for decades, to NOT be seen as people just dressing up and putting on a persona and playing pretend. Attitudes like what a huge portion of tumblr has towards TDOV and the trans experience in general have the potential to, you know. Destroy all that progress and acceptance that had to be carefully gleaned from society over the past fifty fucking years.

For real, today has been a mess in tumblr as far as actual trans representation. I pretty much gave up after seeing a few posts about how "cis straight people need to stay away from queer bars/businesses" as if that's somehow going to fucking make things in anyway better and not the exact same shit your common bigot would say to try and keep money away from gay bars/business. Tumblr loves it's segregation.

I feeling this a lot today too. Trans people - non-binary people especially - are having one fuck of a time being taken seriously anywhere. Tucutes and genderspecials will swear up and down that they aren't causing any damage by essentially trivializing and accessorizing being trans but by acting the way they do, anyone who says they are non-binary immediately is assumed to be just some cis kid trying to wring something interesting out of their dry personality. And unfortunately it's understandable because there are so many who do it. There are always going to be people who don't understand or accept trans and non-binary people and that blows, but honestly I feel people like those Tumblr is rife with just make people less willing to learn and more eager to point and laugh. Anything outside of the standard cis man, cis woman, and maybe trans men and women get reduced to "lol Tumblr" to be subsequently chucked out and denied any recognition.

Basically damn TDOV is all well and good but cis people need to step out of trans spaces and stop trying to twist definitions to make them suit their wants.

Oh boy. I saw this go down on my dashboard, and while they may scream "if you dont agree, then you hate gay robots" and trust me, I enjoy my gay robots, but I enjoy when they're fucking canon and not made up with bullshit delusions. (They're citing a shitty novel, which is really sketchy with canon and the other is the robot bible which also has problems. but none of them say "Yeah Optimus and Megatron were buttbuddies".)

God this makes me wanna make a thread about the Transformers fandom because jesus christ the fandom is a SJW mess on tumblr after the transtrenders jumped in when Rewind and Chromedome became the first official gay robot couple. (It's kind of like what's happening with the SU fandom).

Oh man you should, I remember that no one gave a shit about Drift being the animebot before Chromedome and Rewind, then all off a sudden it was all "Drift is problematic and racist!"

I think we have a lot of threads about SJWs that are pretty much clones of each other. Maybe if there's somebody who stands out or is particularly bonkers, they'd warrant a thread.
