Will is a Jehovah's Witness, and I've heard plenty of stories of really bizarre, sometimes pretty abusive, punishments some of them will come up with for their kids. I've listened to/read some stories from people who grew up with JW parents, and it wouldn't surprise me if Will was subject to some weird forms of discipline which might explain some of his own eccentricities.

Anyway, here are the life goals Maddie set up for Zhan Tiri.
