Honors programs and scholarships from diploma mills like the one you went to don't mean shit. I applied and was accepted to the honors programs from schools similar to GMU...and so did just about everyone else I knew. Seriously, these so-called "honor programs" have such low standards of admission and the schools hand them out like candy because they know most people view them as a joke and need a way to milk that tuition $$$ from students.

I know multiple people who went to these "honor's program" for the scholarship only to find out the school would rescind it after the first semester or year for a BS reason and royally fuck them over. This is a common tactic in higher education to trick students into going to their shitstain school rather than community colleges, where they'd receive cheaper rates and oftentimes a superior education. I am 99% sure the same thing happened to you and you're just too much of a narcissist to admit it.

Also, multiple sources (like US News) rank the school system I went to higher than North Virginia but that doesn't stop predatory colleges with similar stats to GMU from existing around there so your point is invalid.

But in the end, anyone worth their salt knows going through Big Academia doesn't equal skills or intelligence. For example, the squirrels in my yard don't have a college degree but they're smarter than you.

Yes, I think that verbal abuse is just as bad as hitting someone physically repeatedly, if not worse actually. A physical bruise can heal. A verbal wound injures the soul, sometimes very deeply. I think it is harder to heal the soul than to heal the body, IMHO. Also, verbal abuse leads to emotional disorders and mental issues (if you don't cut the person off or are trapped in the situation, like with a boss or parent or whatever) which can take years to correct.
All forms of abuse are awful, no one is arguing that verbal and psycholical abuse are somehow ok. It's just that most of us learned very early, right around the time we were big enough to socialize with other children, probably around 3, (hopefully earlier) that HITTING IS WRONG.
