Am I the only person that thinks that this is probably one of the silliest, and possibly, most harmless controversy, if you can call it that? It's over criticizing one of the richest people
As a person who has played Payday 2, and someone who has watched the stream announcing it (I forget if it was on Overkill's stream, or Ethan's) they said that except for Steam's take, they will donate the money to him.
However, here's one problem.
Ethan was originally an April Fool's joke that came with probably one of the dumbest yet hilariously amazing April Fool's jokes where the game was patched to have ricocheting bullets. Somehow, the Ethan part was soon to be the most hated solely because people didn't want him in due to it breaking lore, because John Wick, Scarface (who wouldn't be added until I think December?), Bodhi from Point Break, and Jacket from Hotline Miami are 100% in character, in lore, and possible. I digress, and wish to mention that the fanbase was disapproving of this DLC for not only this reason, but also the promise at the time that OVK were done with paid DLC. I have no sales data, so I wont make the claim that Keem has no idea about the sales for the "Triple A Game." I will however, challenge the statement of it being a Triple A game, as it's far from that. It's a game made by a small studio that had a big publisher. Not only that, but his claim of it being on the Xbox and PS4 (The DLC) is a lie, because hahahaha console support.
The DLC for the game on console only goes up to a certain point, no further, and no Ethan And Hila pack.

Consoles don't even have the heists that was meant for the ending of the story of Payday. Overkill can't even properly update the console versions. Can't see that as Triple A.
