Anyone else remember when this myth that "straight" men love tranny porn was really popular on reddit a few years back? I don't know why, but I remember seeing it brought up randomly in popular reddit threads that didn't even remotely have anything to do with transgender people or issues. People would make some troon joke or something, then it would spiral into the joys of transgender porn. They'd say stuff like "transgender porn is sooo hot, I'm straight but it's just such a turn on to see a hot woman with a penis" or "I'm straight, I watch some transgender porn because the women look like women, so why wouldn't I? Bottom surgery has gotten so good that even gynecologists can't tell the difference!"

One point I always find amusing is that supposing you get past the physical attraction part of dating trannies, there is still the person part. Mostly I don't really consider that I'd date anybody too different from myself because lifestyle differences are a problem. I am not likely to mesh well with an overly religious person, for example. So I wouldn't do well with any tranny because among other things, we obviously have very different beliefs that are too important to ignore. I might love a transgender person as a person and even be attracted to them but that doesn't mean I could live with that reality, or with a person who believes in it in the first place. Imagine raising children, I would not permit teaching them that sex can be changed or that being born in the wrong body is a thing. Or girldick. Hate does not have to be involved at all to largely reject them as dating prospects, just the obvious incompatibility of worldviews.
