A while back, I saw a woman who was probably in her 80s who had gauges and full-sleeve tattoos that looked relatively new. I'm guessing that she'd always wanted to do that sort of thing, and now that she was retired and it was socially acceptable, she went ahead and did it. YOLO, I guess.

I have a tattooed dot on my sternum to mark my radiation treatment, and that was PAINFUL. I can't imagine how much it must hurt when people get, for instance, eagles or swastikas tattooed on their chests.
