I don't think he's a false flag, I think he's a grifter. He couldn't compete with the other SJWs since they never let him sit at the big boy table so he created a persona to pander to people he hates.

Worth noting is that DeviantArt has always seemed to have interesting rules about NSFW art. DeviantArt never allowed straight up porn like FurAffinity (and other furry centric sites), Twitter, and classic Tumblr did. Instead it only allowed properly marked fetish content and nudes which gave the site the reputation it had.

Anyone actually serious about his/her art would use Artstation even if it's definitely more closed due of the requirements to enter the site (they dont accept the usual emails right off the bat, you have to own a Facebook or Linkedin account first). Deviantart has too much of a meme reputation that has been earned since a decade ago, between the sheer amount of fetish art and low-quality stuff in general, and I dont think a purge like the one that was rumored would change much the public view on that regard. I also remember a lot of people were displeased with the 'Related Content' feature on the side of people's works in dA.

Twitter is a bitch to browse for art accounts because it wasnt meant for that purpose of sharing art on the internet. My personal experience with the platform is that I mostly followed japanese & asian artists because the western counterparts would often retweet unrelated shit. Japanese artist accounts can be annoying with their gacha crap but it's not as bad as the western counterparts engaging in "political debates" imo.

Pixiv is in a weird state because lot of said japanese artists fucked off to Twitter and the website did the mistake to make itself available for english-speaking users. It's impossible to browse tags properly on Pixiv too without meeting the tons of bad art as the 'Sort by Popularity' is locked behind a premium subscription.

You know? If Japan had still closed their borders from the world for almost another 100 years. They might not be the same as the Japan of our time now. Hell if America declared Japan a protected Island for people to stay true to their culture and reject new things like guns and tech? They probably would be the Japanese equivalent of the Amish people but cooler since they can just murder people without going to jail if you are a wandering swordsman or Samurai of war.

But they could be the first Asia country to become part of the United States of America. (Like the 51st state unless we take Puerto Rico or Greenland as such) I believe at the time China would probably gain the upper hand and try to invade Japan by weapons beyond swords like guns and cannonballs. But Merica in this version would not only protect Japan? But also build a wall around the island where they will be safe from Asian invaders.

Like a real-life Code Geass minus the magic bullshit and England still being a powerhouse.

I think it would be funny if something like that happens? Anime, Toonami, and even Hitler would not exist because Japan would still believe that it's the 1800s even though it would be like 2020 and wild Japanese trees and animals would still be there in peace as Japan loves Nature so much they respect it better than china.

Then again? It's a very dumb what if as it isn't much of a real viewpoint thanking about it now......

But at least in that timeline? They would survive Corona-Chan so Japan and Sentinelese better not get the common cold. Ouch!
