FYI, that fucked-up nose is referred to in medicine as cebocephaly. It usually occurs in more severe cases of holoprosencephaly and is a sign of a poor prognosis.

I’ve always wondered if the parents work & if so, what they do Bc it seems like they’re always dropping huge amounts of money to decorate their meat mannequin, shower it with gifts, & throw HUGE parties or “CeLeBrAtIoNs Of LiFe” for it.
Claire wasn’t even really crying. She was having a seizure. You can kind of see the eye twitching & scowling in the beginning before she appears to cry. It lasts a few seconds then she scowls & twitches a little more & snaps directly back into her usual dead eyed stare. I’m sure Gwen was well aware her little “Mimi” was actually seizing but it provided her with an opportunity to make her girls look like the “normal, sassy teens” she said they were.
“Pray for healing for him so we can go home.” Does she really think he’s going to miraculously grow a functional brain & nose overnight?
I’m still dumbfounded by Kelly Whistler’s fundie wish list for Kayli’s birthday. That women genuinely disgusts me on every level imaginable. Honestly, I hate it that people caved to her enormous, bullshit guilt trip & sent videos for her montage. I’d get it if it was for a sentient child, but it’s not. Deep down everyone can see it’s for Kelly. I think what makes it even worse is that instead of just asking for birthday wishes via her “Krusade” page or something simple, as usual she asked for presents & cards to be sent to their PO Box then made another list of ways people could tell Kayli (& Kelly) how amazing, strong, & awe-inspiring they are. It would be kinda crazy to ask for all of these things to be done for a sentient kid, but the fact that these demands are being made in order to strong arm people into fawning over a horrifying, empty shell of a child is just insane. Kelly & Gwen are the only people I can think of who are narcissistic enough to make a list detailing exactly how they want their little horrors worshipped by the masses.
If I could wish for one thing for Kayli, it would be that someone bestows on her the gift of coronavirus. May it finally bring her the sweet release of death. Hopefully it sticks this time.
Edit: I found the post where she claims St Jude turned her son away. According to her, they refused to treat her son bc they weren’t researching the type of cancer he was diagnosed with. Further down in her post, she basically says she refused the treatment St Jude recommended. That doesn’t sound like they refused treatment to me, it sounds like she thought she knew better. Also, her initial claim that they refused to treat her son bc he didn’t have one of the diagnoses they treat is more bullshit. They list the diseases they treat on their website, including ganglioglioma tumors (what she claims her son had). According to her, St Jude is just an evil front for Big Pharma & her son was healed by woo, clean living, & faith. Praise Jeebus!

im all for planting trees but how does that affect her sons cancer? are they nurseyman and therefore would sell you the trees and would be able to afford treatment(although pretty belief in jesus is free) also somewhat surpised this post didnt include kayi

Yeah, that's bullshit of the highest degree, and yes, the mom has Munchhausen's by proxy. She "won" the genetic lottery with Kayli, unfortunately, and while that prevented her other kids from being the next Gypsy Rose Blanchard (all of them have had rare and lethal diseases they've all recovered from without a drop of medicine), they're just completely neglected instead. I hope that unlike Cal, who has been unable to break free from his mother's clutches, these kids fucking run and never look back as soon as they're legally able to do so.

Is Kayli the youngest kid? I wonder how old she was when she had Kayli, I'd imagine being older increases the risk of her condition and I know fundies tend to pop out kids until they physically can't anymore.
Is there any info out there about the rest of the kids? Kayli is obviously the favorite since the mom can treat her as a doll, but if they have eight kids I'd imagine some would be grown by now (and hopefully have escaped their insane mom).

New to this thread...the quarantine led me to read the Hartley thread, the Mama Nails thread & the Jaxon Buell thread. Damn...
This may be a bit of a powerlevel, but back in the early to mid 1980s, my mother's cousin gave birth to a baby who had some sort of severe disability. The name of it escapes me now. Anyway, for a year and a half, that baby lived and knew nothing but suffering and pain. Every moment of the poor thing's existence was agony. His parents didn't keep him alive with extreme measures, no resuscitation or anything like that, he just kept living. And then he died. It was a relief to the entire family that the poor thing was no longer suffering.
A few years later, my mother's cousin got pregnant again. Naturally, she was worried about the condition her son had had and the doctors ran tests. And she was devastated when they told her that without a doubt, 100%, this baby had that same condition. They didn't say "terminate the pregnancy" in so many words, but it was presented to her as an option, considering how far along she was.
She was heartbroken. She lost her son, now her new baby was going to have the same thing. Being raised Catholic, she went to her priest, who had known her since she was a child & supported the family throughout their ordeal with their son. After listening to her, he reached over, took her hand & said "I know what I'm suppose to tell you. But I also know what you and your husband went through. And I saw what your son went through. I think, in this case, it would be far more merciful to send that child to God now then for it to live it's entire life, however short, on this earth knowing only suffering. You will answer to God later, but I think, in this particular case, He would welcome your child into His arms and He will forgive you for wanting to spare your child all the pain."
So....yeah. I don't understand how people can call themselves Christians when they knowingly have children with such profound disabilities and it's very possibly they live in agony and are unable to call out for help or relief. It's selfish, to get the asspats and the "You're so brave" comments from others than for any real concern for the wellbeing, quality of life or care for their child.
(Note I am saying this of a child who can be diagnosed with profound disabilities in utero, not conditions such as Autism, Downs, etc.)

Just so its said, trisomy 18 is visible in utero. 13 and 18 are almost always bad enough to show up in ultrasound (and if they dont, it's probably a mosaic that wont be as severe anyway). The vast majority don't survive anyway.

This time they brought the parade to Kayli . This years parade consisted of the potato dressed in tacky clothing and propped up in a wheelchair at the end of a driveway as numerous people drove by honking, waving and leaving gifts on a table set up in the driveway.
The mother here is such a unlikable battleaxe.
