I feel like there's something that just isn't clicking for Amanda Turcol and, since we're all jumping in with lolcow analysis, I'll give it a shot I guess.
Amanda doesn't see herself as she is, and I don't mean in the "I did nothing wrong!!" light- I mean as an internet "personality"
Take for example everyone's favorite punching bag, Logan Paul. That guy isn't just popular (..because his subs are kids..) in spite of the controversy- There are people who genuinely love him for it. Like it or not, there are people who cannot get enough of drama-fueled trash TV and "messy" internet personalities. Think of the countless times Trisha Paytas, or Jeffree Star, or fucking Pewdiepie have done the rounds on twitter for ##drama- Hell, think of Vegan Gains, think of the fucking iDubbbz controversy if you have to, just find some frame of reference.
Now think about what drew you to that person and their content, what was it? Lets go for the best case scenario of Pewdiepie or iDubbbz- They probably made you laugh, at least once in your sad life, and even if you don't like them they have a sort of stage presences. There's a kind of charisma that comes with being a good entertainer, it's not as easy as pointing a camera at yourself and trusting that people will watch. It's a whole other set of talents you've got to put some inkling of effort into using if you want to keep an audience.
Amanda clearly doesn't see that. She has genuine "fans", or she at least has some simps on deviantArt, but that kind of attention wont last if you can't learn how to conduct yourself online. Forget the fucking camera, this woman can't even TWEET in a way that's easy to consume or engaging to read, she can't yet put together a single entertaining sentence.
There's no honesty here, because she doesn't see the truth- She doesn't put in effort because in her mind, just existing is effort enough, and she can't see the times when even Trisha fucking Paytas or Nikocado Avocado put effort into whining on the internet. She has no idea that other people are consciously trying to behave in a way that is likable and appealing and so, she thinks that these people survive on natural charisma. Because she's trying to Love Herself, she thinks this is something she just has, and people would flock to her if not for those DAMN DIRTY TROLLS keeping her down.
Amanda, people have done so much worse than you, and so much more recently. Even Polanski or Woody Allen have movies that people enjoy, whether or not they should.
You're not bad because people hate you, people hate you because you're bad.
