hello, I've spoken about yaniv on many occasions before but would rather not expose my identity for now, but joined this thread for updates etc

Maybe it's the postponement of all major sporting events that makes watching the terrible gathering momentum of the fleshy boulder, that identifies itself on court documents as Jonathan Yaniv, such a compelling spectacle. He is a lolcow in ascension, unwilling or unable to course correct; winched upward on rails towards his inevitable headlong plunge to rock bottom, blurring past his mother's shame-induced cardiac arrest.
Canada's foremost lesbian with a penis has entered the state of sexual frenzy that the Vulcan race refers to as 'pon farr'. I dunno, Vancouver (actually, the whole province in general) is rife with loan sharks that will say "yes" to a loan, for people who are in no position to get one, quicker than Usain Bolt can complete a lap. Hell, even for Payday loans, they give Ontario and Quebec a run for their money. It makes total sense they'd throw money into Yanny's lap.

Sure, the bank gets to seize the property should lendees default on their loans and end up in foreclosure. However, most banks don't like having foreclosed property because they're now on the hook to maintain the property until it can be sold to someone else. This was especially the case during the recession where banks had so many foreclosed properties that they couldn't stay current with the upkeep on those properties and couldn't sell them fast enough.
Are you mixing up mortgages/loans with reverse mortgages? (archive)
All that said, it's interesting to see Yaniv approved for any sort of loan, even one tapping the condo's equity, given the likelihood that they seemingly lack the means to repay the loan.
This could get messy if Canadian law for foreclosure and eviction is similar to US law. If so, Yaniv could easily trash the condo with costly/irreparable damage prior to being forced out. Given Yaniv's vengeful attitude towards those they feel wronged them in some way, this can't be overlooked as a possibility. I feel sorry for whomever would have to clean up any mess or damage Yaniv leaves behind that has to be addressed before the condo is put back up for sale.

i know that under the land title act,* the lender usually has full decision of what they can do with their mortgage rules by creating a contract, but on terms of transfers that’s been abolished. they’re usually started by petition, but yaniv is able to appeal it by reinstating it, which is what he could probably use his home equity loan on. canadian law is sometimes complex and vague, but chill in the matter of american foreclosures i.e. dsp, which is close to having his whole credit and life annihilated by his trustees because of how much of a stupid fuck he is.

I suppose I am, my understanding of such were that 'equity loans' made against the assets of a lendee wether they have a job or not were on par with the reverse mortgages huckstered on radio and late night teevee and offered by the same 'financial institutions' rather then legit banks(for the most part).

It’s not like some states where the mortgagee is limited to recovering whatever the property is sold for (unless they keep the property, which banks won’t). He will still owe the balance even if the mortgage is underwater. If it’s a foreclosure, the first mortgage will be paid out in full before a second mortgage sees a dime, which is why second mortgages have higher rates. There’s a usually 6 month redemption period between getting the initial order and before a sale is forced but BC Supreme Court is not hearing non-urgent matters.
It gets more complicated if there are judgments registered on the title - did we ever get confirmation from the JCCF as to whether the ladies actually got the money?

Yesterday I was finna say that I wouldn't move in there unless the drains had been cleaned and inspected, but I thought that might be too OCD.

I recall @WGkitty telling us about seeing a plumber's van outside Yaniv's unit for one or two days fairly recently, but haven't found the post. What I did find from a year ago, though - LMAO:

He's had breathing problems right along, diagnosis never stated. Fatspeditis? Panickedtroonilepsy?
He was also wearing the canula with an oxygen concentrator the day he chased his runaway walker in front of Bexte. That was when he was trying to get disability benefits, so it may have just been LARPing, but he does seem to be quite the wheezer. You can hear him panting on the video he made riding his scooter through a McDonald's drive-thru and in that makeup video when his only exertion was scraping on eyeshadow like it was spackle.

I'm sure I've seen a pic on Twitter of the actual van outside the building, I'll probably find it when I least expect it.
My in-laws were fat, morbidly so, and they struggled to breathe, even the effort of being seated was laborious. They all sounded just like jonny ... drowning in their own fat I've since read.
