That application would have ANY trustee on high alert for fuckery, and the 341 reinforced that probability.

I maintain the absolute dumbest thing DSP has done in all this was that half-assed attempt at an application. Minor things like not reporting the cat or claiming to have no electronics are going to make it clear your application is shit and they're going to go looking even if they didn't already have reason to do so. If you're going to set out to try to deceive a federal bankruptcy court, the absolute last thing you want is to get tripped up on even completely trivial shit even a moron like Phil should have been able to get right.

And then talking to the trustee like she's some moron in his stream chat whose nonsense he was magnanimously tolerating was suicidal. Little dumb things like his "explanation" of what PayPal is.

I hope Nancy writes something that gets filed going into detail about all this and eviscerating the pigroach narrative. Full details and deadpan snarking about DSP's nonsense could be pure comedy gold.

I think Nancy decided pretty early on that DSP is a walking pile of bullshit and just wanted to get his perjury on the record.

I agree. I just meant that he didn't declare shit but she had a full list of every major game console for her to check off. So obviously people have been tipping her off from the get go.

It's somewhat odd to get that specific in a 341 hearing so I'd gather she had more than just this stuff, and couldn't yet verify the rest of the stuff she had. So she was just testing the info she could get quick answers on, possibly with the intent that if it didn't pan out she wasn't going to waste time with third party nonsense. None of that stuff could really directly be used as evidence anyway, and I'd assume she's also gotten some super autistic shit of uncertain reliability.

If that was her motive she more or less found out at least some of that stuff is reliable.

What I'm curious about is whether she'll believe/look into WWE Champions. Will she truly be able to grasp that 50 grand went into a virtual hole within his phone? I can't fathom it's something she's ever seen before.

I would be surprised if nobody told her about that, and I'd be even more surprised if she would believe it. It sounds absolutely ludicrous if you aren't familiar with gacha games that an adult man would seriously flush money down the toilet in such a humiliatingly stupid way. If she scrutinizes his cash flow and not just his assets, there's no way she doesn't figure it out though.

If I were Nancy and basically knew nothing about DSP other than his filings and what we heard in the 341 hearing, I'd be starting out assuming something like a drug habit, which really isn't too far off from reality. There is nothing I can imagine funnier than her report somehow actually describing what the fuck gacha games are and WWE Champions in particular, in black and white, with numbers and dates. I will go apeshit if that happens.

She would be MORE pissed that its gacha rather than drugs. Drugs she can send him to rehab but gacha and his continued insistence to spend on it in bankruptcy is going to tick her off mightily.

She might just throw out the bankruptcy all together after that.

The more I think about it, the more I think Leanna caught onto this and it was a major reason they broke up. He would have thrown away a couple hundred grand on this by that point

OMFG that guy is 58 daymmmmmmm. Those genetics

The tip line was a blessing in disguise for Nancy because essentially it meant we were doing her interns work for her, so we at least have that to pat ourselves on the back for.

In terms of the assessment for WAkhando, he will get pinned for purposely undervaluing it. Those figures were sketchy from the get go and even readers here were like wait a minute. Most advisers in bankruptcy tell you to overvalue your property just in case. The fact the no electronics etc will bite him too as that is a very purposeful answer and the trustee will penalise him for it with scrutiny, its why it got moved to an asset case.

Corona Chan and Autism is a powerful combination and with great power comes great responsibility.

Tbh drugs are less gay than a WWE candy crush game. Also, you have to be on drugs to spend 40k on candy crush

I'm also pretty sure he's lying to Khet or hiding some of the microtransactions he spends on WWE, partially because he's ashamed and because she'll realize him being a broke boy is completely the fault of him being a dumb bitch

It wouldn't be a shock if Phil's spending habits played a part in the end of his relationship with Leanna. Granted, they had a whole bunch of major issues (nothing in common, age difference, lack of intimacy, etc.) but financial troubles can be a real eye-opener and are a fairly common reason why couples who have been together for years have problems. She got a job and maybe learned the importance of being at least somewhat financially responsible, meanwhile her boyfriend is spending his money on the absolute dumbest, no value shit like mobile games and his DVD collection, racking up massive amounts of debt while not saving for the future at all. Phil has readily admitted that there is no plan B, and looking at his actions the last few years it turned out to be one of the few things he's ever been honest about. Hitching your wagon to someone who you know is heading toward the edge of a cliff is a very hard sell for anybody, at some point they're going to say "fuck this" and bail out. Just goes to show how much smarter Leanna is than dumbass Kat.

Either Kat chooses to remain blissfully unaware of any details surrounding their financial situation, or she is dumb as a box of rocks and just sitting idly by as their home and life get put in jeopardy due to a mobile game.

Personally I think DSP hides the details of just how MUCH he is spending on wwe champions from her. I just can't fathom somebody knowing that is where all their money is going and not taking drastic action.

It must be really annoying working a retail job only to come home to hear about Phil's tough day. For Phil to explain how difficult his day was because of a challenging boss in Sekiro. We know he did the same to Leanna just from the reeemergency. I may be begging for tips and shit for the rest of my life. Probably in an apartment without his model wife.

Would the trustee be obligated to say where they got certain bits of information? Like, would Nancy have to tell Dave "So, there's this guy named Fred... Fuchs? Sent me detailed emails showing *this* and *that* and we were able to verify that you wasted our time and blew smoke up everyone's ass..."?

Good lord, if/when this all winds up dropping nukes on Phil, his woe-is-me-trolls-got-me-again begging will spin past 11.

That's an interesting question but I'd assume not, although it might be open to discovery. It would be super improper for a judge to make decisions based on things like this that are unknown to the debtor, but a trustee isn't a judge. She represents the United States in this, the bankruptcy estate itself (a separate legal entity from the bankrupt) and has some duties to the creditors as well.

She isn't the ultimate decision maker, though, and I don't think random tips are evidence as such, unless she actually files them so the judge can use them. I am not sure they'd even be admissible without the source of them available to testify and give a foundation for their admission.

I could see DSP making a Hail Mary play blaming the situation on detractors, claiming he was prejudiced by that fake creditor at the 341 meeting and otherwise that there's a conspiracy against him. But he'd have to pay a lawyer to do that. Sweaty naked dudes are much more important to him than that apparently.
