+381/+40/+204 new cases/deaths/recoveries in Poland today. We haven't had this many deaths on a single day yet.

The graphs are for daily new cases and daily new active cases (so minus deaths and recoveries) respectively. Like I said before, the latter is taking a huge plunge because all the people infected in early April are now being discharged (or buried, as the case may be).

I don't mean to be rude here, but that seems like a bug in the system. Maybe even a Bug in the system. In Starship Troopers some guy busted himself down to Private so he could go fight on the frontline.

I looked it up and this only happened in the film, not in the book.

There was no Starship Troopers film, there was only a Paul Verhoeven masturbation session about Fascism being evil in a universe that had nothing even close to Fascism because he was too lazy to read the book.

Interesting move to possibly re-instate Crozier. Maybe it is the fastest track to readiness for that ship. I wonder if the instability in asia with the China and Taiwan situation, Kim Wrong'un possibly being very ill and Iran launching ballistic missiles that the first signs of being ready are afoot. Am only putting this thought out there as on the grapevine there is an increase in the big USAF stuff flying out of germany and not returning and a fuck load extra USAF and RAF practicing in and around the UK in the last week. Could just be because the sky is emptier though. Known mercy flights of ppe have been taken into account.

The film is a parody of the ideas in the book. I like them both, though they're effectively making opposite ideological points.

I see @Mexican_Wizard_711 has deleted his post, but while I would not attempt to offer medical advice for whatever issues he is encountering, and I am not a chemist either, I do not believe that the additives to Dasani water is consistent with bleach+water, which is not something you should drink unless your water is not potable.

Ensuring that water consumption (of tapwater) is maintained at the previous levels would be wise. Taking a multivitamin would be unlikely to hurt. Please don't drink bleach unnecessarily or try to make your own Dasani water from research chemicals.

One of my clients was hoping to reopen physical offices (NYC, London, LA, Paris, and a few other places) on May 6th.

They've now pushed it back to "June 1st as the earliest."

So someone saw their shadow and we got another 6 weeks of Lockdown.

I honestly think the DNC is going to keep things closed until they're physically forced to open things up by angry mobs outside of their mansions. A combination of not wanting to be the first one to go forward and knowing that they can't risk having a live debate for Biden / allowing Biden or Trump to do rallies.

The serology tests from New York are actually a bit relieving. Out of a semi-random sample size of 3000 people, 11-21% of people tested positive for COVID specific antibodies, many likely being asymptomatic or very mild.

If those tests are even remotely accurate with an estimated 2.2m active/recovered infections, that lowers the fatality down to 0.5% and only 7-ish% of infections are bad enough to exhibit telltale symptoms.

I think if anything that's enough to possibly shatter the theory of this virus being a leaked bioweapon, unless it's a horrifically under-baked one.

Of course these numbers are subject to radical change with additional data, but it's interesting to ponder on.

Alternate hypothesis: Trump is actually one of the most well informed people on Coronavirus and it's treatments -- by definition he is WAY more informed than the fucking blue checks and journoactivists losing their minds about him, which is something that will cause a full chimpout if you mention it to them -- and is just bringing things up before they're commonly known.
