I run into this a lot in a professional capacity where the husband owns all of the wife's email accounts, social media accounts, screens her phonecalls, and carefully monitors what she does on her phone. Spoilers: it's all Indian men married to Indian women. The women are basically impossible to contact without the husband's knowledge and approval - which in turn makes it difficult to deal with them in a professional employment capacity. The husbands will pretend to be the wives' "managers" or outright impersonate them via email.
The super lols thing about this is it's the same situation with Kate and her owner where the wife is working and the husband is on the spousal visa. It's a bunch of insecure manbabies who feel emasculated because their wives bring home the paycheck. I would not be shocked in the slightest if Jason was impersonating her on social media so he can keep her controlled and isolated. She is his meal ticket, and without her, he has no income-generating skills.
