I remember this guy. If a Citizen Kane superhero movie was ever made, would these types of people and Mauler have their minds blown so hard that their heads would literally explode?

Did you know that Citizen Kane didn't win Best Picture? Makes me wonder how these types of people and MauLer would have reacted to it if they were around back then.

Didn't EFAP start off as them watching movies and critiquing it? Oh how it's devolved. They don't even watch films on it anymore. It's just a bunch of jerkoffs shittalking everyone else on the internet. Go to a forum or some private discord group to do that, lazy fucks.

It's always been about shittalking other content creators.

Right. I forgot. I haven't checked in on him in awhile since he lost me on his attempts at defining Objectivity. My friend casually mentioned to me "what happened to that guy who pauses every frame to critique a movie with his friends?" and I just said I didn't know.

Oh God. What just happened to me. This is it. It's the MauLer effect. Where he actually convinces people he's offering legitimate film criticisms once you forget about him for awhile.

I guess this is what it's supposed to be, but I guess they consider bashing other people's videos as also discussing media.

Why did they not want to cover them again after their initial stream?
I think Mauler and co. are running out the well. He hasn't finished his TFA series so he can't really jump onto a TRoS series, which is more topical and trendy. Either he does both at the same time or he waits until he finishes TFA and by then, a lot of people will most likely already have done a video on it.

Now I don't remember the exact quote or whatever (hard to when I've heard days of audio of this mook talking) but he mentioned how half the sins are just jokes or random references, and something else. Regarding Wins, I think it was something like how he always goes out of his way to praise things and also the occasional random joke or ref. I'm sorry my answer is kinda shit, I just mainly remember him saying that those were some of the reasons why he doesn't want to cover their videos.

He was already starting his TFA series when people were more interested in TLJ or the future TRoS, and now that the trilogy is done, people are already moving on to other films and whatnot. Honestly, I still don't understand why he has this massive hard on for the sequel films, they were shit, just move on. An Unbridled Rage was enough, and those videos fit his style of looking at every scene critique more anyways. I actually just recently watched all the sequel films myself, and they were just bad and boring. How the fuck has he managed to milk this trilogy for this long.

How the fuck has he managed to tard cum this trilogy for this long.

Because he's essentially almost a grifter at this point. He doesn't offer what he's actually supposed to be selling.

The other reason being I guess he's a part of the "Fandom Menace"? Or at least friendly with them to appear on their livestreams. Those nutfucks deserve their own threads (if they haven't got one already) over how they're still pissing mad at Star Wars years after TLJ.

He is definitely loving the easy money he gets from EFAP and his Patreon and I guess whatever ad revenue from his many videos. Who are the big names in the Fandom Menace? They're people I hear about a lot, and I kinda want other "critics" to laugh at.

There's Jeremy from Geeks and Gamers, Anna That Star Wars Girl, MechaRandom, Ethan Van Sciver (who kinda already has his own thread due to his ComicsGate shenanigans, and I think he's left the Fandom Menace or something but is still in good terms with them), Jeff Hicks from WorldClassBullshitters, Jessie from Mindless Entertainment. Those are the ones I have off the top of my head right now, but there's plenty of lolcows in that entire "Internet Fandom/Movement".

MauLer comes off as intelligent compared to the rest of them though. Which explains why he's still relevant.

The only episodes where I actually see them critiquing a fictional work are their Batwoman videos and those are considered "mini" episodes. The main episodes are them laughing at people with different opinions. That pretty much sums up their series.

I remember them "critiquing" Brie Larson's shitty movie with the unicorn in it on one episode. Another example of MauLer taking on an easy target. Or maybe that was a fever dream, I don't remember what number it was.

I found it - it wasn't a regular episode of EFAP. It was episode 2 of "EFAP Movies".

The movie critiques being separate episodes says all you need to know about EFAP.

The main issue is that the premise of EFAP is inherently flawed.

They will often pause mid sentence and begin a 30 minute tirade that goes nowhere or gets immediatly refuted upon resuming. They also have a surprisingly narrow range of usable material. Their gaming expertise died with Wolf. Anime is off the table. Cartoons are definitely off the table. That leaves them with everything not relagted to minis which consists with an ever shrinking list of cherry picked videos which I am positive they pick based on the titles and nothing else. Even then they are playing safe now after picking a fight with Jenny Nicholson and being surprised that she has a fanbase that defends her.

Another problem is how they utilize guests. They seem to pull on whose available at the time rather than picking guests that would be suitable for the subjects at hand (mostly because they have no idea what they will be 'crtiqueing). On the subkect of guests, how often do you think they invite the subjects of their 'critiques' on before they spend 4 hours trashing them? They only pull them on after the fanbase has spammed them to death to get grilled in full on debates they are unprepared for just so they chalk another line under their victory count. Yet the one time they get challenged to an actual debate on even grounds they back down because they are being 'disengenuous' (for requesting that they kick Rags so that it would be a 2v2) and resort to petty twitter sniping.

Oh yes I remember turbo cringe fest on an episode he was demanding one of them gets on to debate him wolf and rags and when they suggest rags and wolf leave to make it a 1v1 mauler throwing a shit fit id clip it for the thred but I'm not looking through old ass episodes just for that sorry

Also does anyone know how he spends upwards of 4 hours on a 9 hour podcast reading super chaps surely he doesn't get that much money does he. It makes metokur look bitch made by comparison

they both have topics to disquss with people and cover videos like Dark Souls or Buffy (at this point even some pc gaming stuff could be nice) but for some stupid reason Rags has to be always present (even before Wolf left) so we are stucked right now with:

1. Joker
2. Star Wars (and yes hearing retards like Movie Blob of Bob or Greedo is funny but it becomes stale as fuck.)
3. Random topic like Doom or Toy Story recently

As said in the discord Mauler always prepares videos and guests just in case the main topic people are not available but they usually show up.

MauLer would probably be the first person to talk his fanbase down from coming here. I have a feeling he already has and they're lurking this thread, but knowing better than to post in it.

While following the Twitters of his nemeses is common for him, he's also quite skilled at finding internet nobodies complaining about him without tags. It's like he's not even trying to hide that he Googles himself constantly - it's all about defending his good name and work.
he's never done that, he is not even active in his discord server that much as he usually hangs out with his friends

Rags and Wolf were doing that before they met Mauler, they just adopted the format to form efap

Yeah, I'm aware, I just assumed that when they got together they'd at least put their analysis on top of each other and Steelman their arguments before coming to a consensus. That'd be a productive way to do an actual EFAP, but that actually requires work.

BTW, I'd avoid triple postings or double postings, just so you don't end up clogging up the page. You could click the quote button and it'll save those quotes so you can stock them up and edit your post instead of submitting a new reply everytime you want to reply to someone.
