E: Whether or not I vote, a sex pest is going to be president. It literally doesn't matter what I do. Because it's a foregone conclusion that my action or inaction will not change that outcome, it's only sensible that I vote for the least-bad sex pest. I'd love for a non-rapey person to be president as a result of the 2020 election, but it won't happen regardless of what I do. If in 2024 either side gets a fucking clue and puts up someone who isn't a total shitbag, I'll vote for that person. If a third party candidate had a snowball's chance in hell of winning the presidency, I'd vote for that person instead.

There does exist the possibility that the allegations against Trump, which the media gleefully dug into until each one spectacularly exploded, were false, and the allegations against Biden have been ignored and buried, to the point of deleting the larry king episode where Reade's mother called in. And some of those Trumplets might remember the standards being just a little bit different when the accusations were against republicans.
But WTF is all this unironic arguing over whether or not Trump wants us to inject bleach? Who cares? He, at best, made a weird and clumsy statement, which people worked themselves into pretzels to defend, then he hilariously sandbagged them by saying it was all a joke or he was just pretending to be retarded. Why not? It sucks, but to be realistic, either Biden or Trump will win. Yes, both guys suck. However, one has to choose which one they like more. Biden ain't my ideal guy, but he's still better than Trump.
And yes, I know you said "without whimpering about Trump", but that's impossible since Trump is running, too. You could also ask someone, "without whimpering about Biden, why vote for Trump?".
