If MGS2 were like this one, the Tanker chapter would constitute half the game instead of the first hour, Snake dies when Ocelot sinks the tanker, and the second half would have you play as Ocelot as he tracks down Otacon and tortures him.

The dev leaker(s) were apparently pajeets who were not paid. ND may have pulled a Spyro and had an outsourced studio try and finish the game.

They tried to cheat pajeets and got burned.

But yeah the game being rushed out after pre-orders were just refunded means it's toast. Nothing can be fixed, this is going to be a real shitshow.

Unfortunately nothing outside rumors, but it makes more sense than a disgruntled employee because then there would be far more payment disputes than just one.

Payment disputes that escalate to severe levels are most of the time companies not being paid by other companies. And something this big is usually when there's no consequences. So more than likely it's been leaked by a company in another country.

All big AAA studios outsource big chunks of work to companies in developing countries, so i’m not even surprised.
Whats the legal side of this? If people were not payed, will they still be fucked by NDA?

I like to think the pajeets were acting out of righteous outrage over the game intentionally removing all the bobs and vagene and making every woman about as attractive as a double-shat pavement

"Postponed indefinitely" to a release date in a little over a month about 24 hours a massive shitstorm of a leak. Funny how it all works.

My guess is that Sony saw the final product, flipped their shit because Naughty Dog is about to set fire to their exclusive franchise, and told them to go fix it. Then the leaks happened and now it's like "why even bother".

Ellie looks really weird in some of these cutscenes, she has the proportions of a wnba player without the height. Overall I'm glad this is happening, sick of people citing their games when lecturing on how games should be more like movies.
