A friend of mine had breast implants, she was always a bit of a fashion fanatic, and she said it allowed her to wear clothes she wouldn't have looked right in otherwise. Which seemed fair enough, it wasn't as if she was going around flashing them at every guy in sight.

With pornstars the reasoning is obviously different, but I wonder if it's really the porn producers pushing it.

I'm sure for the more reticent ones, the porn producers or agents push girls to get implants. Many girls probably already know that implants would be expected if they weren't naturally "large".

There's probably some degree of shrewdness involved where women that plan to stick around delays the plastic surgery until it's time to be a milf(when is that, age 27?). If teen and milf are the only two categories available then a fast transition between the two would be more desirable than being benched for a couple of years. It's just speculation but it makes sense to me.

I never really "got" that mentality of their only being two categories, teen and milf. Is there nobody interested in hot women in their 20s or 30s? Is MILF porn really that popular? There's a whole lot of amateur porn and a whole lot of cam shows featuring women who are clearly not teens or MILFs so I wonder whether this is just outdated "common knowledge" in an industry that is quickly losing ground to technology.

As I understand it, it is driven by SEO, so things have to fit in search terms to be able to compete because like the meme "I google porn and I get 2 billion results" isn't profitable. So the big two search terms to narrow down results would be teen and milf.

How would you as a pornographer market on the internet through pornhub "average looking chicks" or "normal woman"? I've mentioned Jon Ronson many times(journalist, wrote the book "Men Who Stare At Goats" etc.) and his investigation into the porn business. He was on the set of "Stepmother Cheerleader Orgy", named and themed after the most popular search terms at the time.
He did his own podcast about it and wrote a couple of interesting articles but there's also a Joe Rogan episode that's really fun to listen to, he's a funny guy.

Only video I've seen of her where it looks remotely remastered is this 60fps one.

Anyways, the reason I remember the "OG" pornstars like her, Belladonna, Tera Patrick, Sasha Grey (obviously), etc. is because those were the ones I remember the most from way back, when I was a young horndog.

I remember trading diskettes with sped-up 700Kb 320x240 animated GIFs of porn clips back in highschool -you could only fit 4/5 GIFs on those tiny 1.44Mb diskettes- and was such a step above porno mags.
