I’m a dumbass who can’t remember names, but if I recall correctly, the head of the server knowingly let a minor into a nsfw discoed channel and created a nsfw model of their fursona. There were screenshots of chat logs where someone called to the guy’s attention that the kid was a minor, and the guy dragged his feet because the kid was 16 and “it wasn’t like I roleplayed with him”. So something something “I did this when I was a kid and if I hadn’t I’d be dead now, do you want me dead”, “age of consent varies”, “woe is me”, yada yada.

Wish I could offer more beyond that, but it was a fleeting post in a mire of usual furry bullshit, so I didn’t catch much.

So in conclusion: CasualFennec aka Fenneko had went and drummed up a shit fuck load of drama to try to start shit with a VRC group. A degenerate one, but one nonetheless.

Pretty much. This is my basic guess of what happened:

• Jackie has a fetish VRChat server and lets Rusty in his discord for it despite knowing he's underage but doesn't give him access to the 18+ areas, just general chat.
• Dandu (co-owner mentioned in Jackie's discord announcement post) is upset there's a minor in the server, argues about it with Jackie
• Jackie doesn't see an issue with it because Rusty isn't in the 18+ areas, but Dandu still pushes it and removes Rusty from the discord anyways.
• Dandu is still mad and leaks all this shit to Fennergy
• Fennergy attempts to contact Jackie about it but then decided to ignore Jackie's response for some reason
• Fennergy makes a callout about it, gets blastback for it, then later wipes all their tweets about it and pretended it never happened

So while nobody is arguing that Jackie is a degenerate for having a fetish vrchat and discord, CasualFennec/Fennergy definitely seems to be in the wrong here for starting shit without checking its accuracy, and the fact they wiped all their callout posts is incredibly suspicious.

Just like Dogpatch and Keemstar he has lots of misses he ends up deleting tweets about when he jumps the gun. At one point he trooned out, made a new account to "move on" from drama/his past of saying nonwoke things about Islam right after a terror attack, and decided to use his trans status as a way to win online arguments.

One of his most iconic tweets among those getting into fights with him (aside from the Islam tweets) is when he said having a penis is worse than holding dead kids in ambulances or helping people in warzones. He had a few tweets like this and later wiped many of them, but this one is still up.

If you think having a penis, regardless of your dysphoria, is worse than the loss of human life you are a danger working in a medical environment. I know the NHS is desperate but this ain't the kind of person you should employ.

Edit: The only redeeming part is that she's saying it in regards to Kate's Cuck being transphobic, but it's not much redemption given she's saying dysphoria is worse than fucking drowning a friend.

All the VRC furry communities are a lot more tight knit between each other, so almost everything drama related is kept internally between the community or communities involved. It essentially allows for any major issues happening to be resolved quickly and efficiently without a peanut gallery to muddle up a situation (i.e.: fucking twitter). I’d still worry about minors in the furry VRChat community for the same reason I worry about minors in any furry-related community. Even if you keep them away from 18+ materials, there’s pretty much no way to keep them away from the creepos that infest the fandom. “Clean,” “Kid-friendly,” “SFW” telegram groups and discords and shit are a great place to go if you’re a lonely 14 year old wanting to get gobs of DMs from sweet-talking strangers telling you how great you are and how much they care about you and how they’re going to show you just how beautiful your body really is. Minors in the fandom are prey and there’s tons of people tooking to get a bite. People in charge of communities often have ban-on-sight rules for any minor who outs him or herself because they know the risk and might even already know which community members are serial offenders.

In this instance, I’m going to give Jackie the benefit of the doubt and assume that this discord‘s 18+ content was on an opt-in basis and that there were lots of people who were of age but didn’t have the tag marking them as 18+ because they weren’t interested in furry porn. That, combined with telling this kid to keep his damn mouth shut about anything that could reveal his age, would approach an appropriate way to let him interact with people while hiding him from the sex pests. Debatable, but if it was the case then he was at least trying to keep the kid out of danger.

It does sound like the shitstorm’s too well under way to be stopped now, though, because somebody saw an opportunity to point the finger and get some attention. A less destructive way to draw a crowd of emotional onlookers would have been to stand on a ledge, but that would require this guy to step away from his computer for a bit.

This is a problem everyone is aware of and they all have their ways of handling it. The issue is kids are known to be notorious liars.

While I can definitely say that efforts should be and are in place to prevent kids from accessing NSFW, ultimately it's not anyone's responsibility to deal with it. Even Discord's absolute minimum in their ToS boils down to "If they click yes on the age gate it's not your problem" and the only thing people really have at risk at that point is reputation. With that being said almost everyone is generally in agreement about keeping the kiddie diddlers out, the problem is the smart ones don't actually get caught in time.

Yeah I saw the original stuff. So basically.. Rusty got a NSFW model made, when Jackie was informed, they claimed that "Hes 16 so he can consent." and a lot of shitflinging back and forth how Jackie won't remove him because hes above the age of consent and arguing how he isn't.
