I think when you're relative is proudly claiming his pony waifu is literally his wife and fucking a plushie, I think you kind of just give up and accept that they're past the point of no return. So you just kinda silently disown them to cut your losses and cope with the fact that that horrible manchild shares your blood.

Bronies get obsessed with things pretty easily, it's pretty much how the show works in a way, the characters are made to be likable but the shows panders a lot to their male fans, example being the whole Dinky Doo (Ditzy Doo) and DJ Pon-3(Vinyl Scratch) thing. I used to be part of the community and I can assure you this guy is one of the tamest ones you can know, sure he is akward and weird but it's tame compared to the horrors I have witnessed.

But to get on topic, this guy was a big thing back in the day, he began to claim Twilight Sparkle spoke to only him and he had the blessing of the shows creator Lauren Faust to marry her, as stated before he claims every other pony besides his are just fakes and replicas, he's so protective over his Waifu that he claims he will call the police or FBI if he sees porn about her because they are "Raping my wife with their minds" can't really add much more than this except his facebook post where he "marries" her.

Wow. Jin's "relationship" with his "waifu" kind of reminds me of (and hopefully doesn't ruin) Calvin and Hobbes, only far, far, far more disturbing and obscene.

Except Calvin was a kid and Hobbs was his imaginary friend. When I was a kid I had a very real to me group of pokemon friends who I have memories of actually "seeing" and "hearing."

But I was 7! And grew out of it. Imaginary friends are totally healthy and good for children who are learning about the world and how to socialize and deal with things on their own. Then they grow out of it when they learn all that stuff. Waifuism people never learned any of those basic tenants of life, so they still have their imaginary friends to count on rather than dealing with the real world and real people.

Interestingly I have no idea when my imaginary friends left, I think they just faded away as I grew older and got real friends. But waifu peeps are so against learning to actually socialize that they fight the natural tendency of their brains to lose the imaginary friends tooth and nail and then mourn them once they are gone!

Based on his DA comments he is still active as of March, but there's nothing really there of note. Despite being crazy as a shithouse rat, he manages not to chimp out much.

The chimping all happened about a year ago from what I know, and now like many lolcows he has been beaten into obscurity.

I read a lot about this guy because I find him fascinating in a strange way. Anyway, he claims he has gone to therapy and the therapist apparently encouraged him since the "relationship" wasn't harming anyone. Who knows how real that is or isn't, considering the story came from Jin himself.

Oh, if anyone is really dedicated about learning about his delusions like I am, he has an AMA thread on rlpv. The oddest stuff is when he claims the Canon of the show is wrong because he has the true horse wife to tell him what 'really happened'.
