Well, he's been begging for Anthrocon funds for ages, and if he'd already bought the ticket (which to be honest I had kind of figured he had, you buy tickets to any con way in advance unless you want to pay a shitload more at the door) who knows how much else he had squirreled away that's now his to spend? If nothing else he probably had money sunk into a room with that French dude who got mentioned in a tweet a while back, and I don't believe for a minute he ACTUALLY bit into any funds that he had no matter how much we heard him bellyaching about having to use his furry money to buy apples.

I mentioned a couple of pages back that Lou was probably going to pay around $900-$3000 for Anthrocon depending on the hotel, but realistically, he's probably only spent $200 max at this point but is more likely in the sub-100 range. Anthrocon registration is roughly 60 at the door (less if you bought it in advance obviously), and from what I've heard from furries who went other years, most AC hotels require you to pre-pay one night in advance as a deposit.

Assuming the French guy covered the one night (which all hotels are automatically refunding anyways), Lou's Anthrocon refund is probably a whopping $40-50.

The frames are like ten bucks, before shipping. I'm pretty damn sure you could just bring the broken pair (with their very intact lenses) and a new frame to your local eye doctor and get them popped right back in for next to nothing. At the very most, about $120, unless you spend a lot on one meal of splurging to have a friend meetup thing. There are "budget" food options assuming fast food is within a mile or so (walk with your friends, get food, come back).

So at MOST, if you REALLY want to go to a con, ~$500 gets you through comfortably. $300 is bare minimum.

This is all without travel considering Lou lives within Uber distance of the hotel. $350 max.

The anthrocon refund is like $45 assuming he prereg'd. Maybe 50 at best.

I honestly have doubts that he even had money saved up for AC considering his spending habits. He had 2 months until go time so why save? Why not just make up a new excuse. Half a year is a long time to hold money if you aren't trying to actively save it

I hope Lou is broke or his mom says shit to him. He's literally a drain on society. If he would apply for jobs, he would either get a job or be eligible for unemployment but thats way too much work, eh Lou? I doubt he's had income in the past 12 or so years. Oh. That makes much less sense than my explanation.

He keeps calling people "Karen," right off of calling people "boomer" as if both were some kind of verbal takedown. This ties into how I notice Louis argues when backed into a corner, being that he doesn't. If you're generous, you can call his approach "ad hominem," but there isn't even any logic tied to what he says. He's just name-calling without so much as addressing what was even mentioned, which is the most immature form of arguing next to blowing raspberries and belching at the other person. Another thing Louis does when arguing is this:

He isn't responding directly, he's making a separate tweet entirely and preaching to an audience that isn't there. Nobody reads his tweets unless he's threatening to kill himself or making other people wish he would, so it's clear he's doing this as yet another insult, albeit more underhanded while possibly hoping the other person doesn't notice. His approach to any disagreement isn't convincing people, it's getting the last laugh, and it's what makes his moments of discourse so contemptible.

The thing is, while he is being, for lack of a better term, "toxic" by this behavior, I firmly believe Louis doesn't believe so himself. Reread his bio and tweet regarding his account "deletion" again.

Notice anything missing? Because there's two. The first is an actual apology. He doesn't say sorry, and he doesn't even say what he thinks he did wrong, which is the second thing that this message lacks. He continues this victim mentality by only mentioning things that are outside of his control (by at least one degree of separation), namely his friends getting upset or blocking him. He doesn't acknowledge what he did wrong because he doesn't think he did anything wrong and thus wouldn't know what's making people upset. "Toxic" is too much a vaguery which has been thrown at him far too many times for it to have any meaning to him. He's just doing this for pity again, and this "woe-is-me" writing effectively proves it.
