Destiny is no different from most artists that draw woke stuff "for themselves".

Spoiler: Argument sperging

They use that reason as a shield because "it doesn't hurt anybody when they draw that" (similar to how you can't criticize someone's poor drawing skills because "it's their artstyle"). Sure, other than some of these pieces being an eyesore (and some of them even being fetishistic), these are drawings. Of course they cannot hurt anybody.

The problem with this argument is that it shows their true colors, the colors of those "creators" that cannot create something original or complex to save their lives (you can create black and/or gay characters that are NOT their physical characteristics and still become beloved and well-known, like Static Shock), and have to rely on already-existing properties and characters to replace the lack of that creative skill.

Not to mention that, by that logic, they should stop making sexy characters cover up, because the people behind those character designs drew them "for themselves" as well, but double standards and all.

If Destiny were to draw her "trans lesbians" like actual people maybe, only maybe, she would not be featured as heavily in this thread as she is. But projecting all of her physical characteristics into fictional characters (that are the polar opposite to her) is her only gimmick to stay afloat on Twitter and Instagram so.

Because they "have white privilege," or, more accurately, are successful. You notice how the only POC that "count" to SJWs are the same ones that have it the worst in the US? Blacks, Hispanics. Followed by Indigenous people, Middle Eastern people, brown Asians, etc. Very very bottom of the "POC" list would be Japanese, Jewish, etc.

I don’t think their reasoning is that deep. Anime characters have big eyes, so their chimp brains interpret that as being white.
