The most shocking part of this is that she’s only 24. If someone is happy getting face tattoos, full body coverage, eye tattoos, whatever else and it’s not hurting anyone, I’ll shake my head and criticize them, but so be it, do whatever makes you happy. But 24? She hasn’t even had time to figure out if she will regret them. She rushed to get as much coverage as possible. Those onlyfans dollars won’t last forever and her other job is as a piercer. I used to follow her on Instagram because I quite enjoy tattoos and followed a ton of heavily tattooed people and artists, and what strikes me is just how quickly she gets tattooed. I followed her for about two months and in that span of time she got like six face tattoos. Often within a few days of the last one.

I'm sure it makes me sound like a boomer, but face tats in your mid-20s is just not a good idea. Get face tats in your 30s, 40s; when you've been heavily tattooed for a while and you're sure you're okay with the face tat being the first thing everyone notices about you, because it absolutely will be the first thing everyone notices about you. The artist I got my tattoos from has a few small face tats and he mentioned to me that if you ever get them, say goodbye to your prospects of interacting with the elderly in any circumstance, because they will cross the street to avoid you. This race-to-the-top approach with tattooing just ends up creating people who look completely fucking ridiculous and will age like a glass of piss.

Also, her tattoos are a messy patchwork of random bullshit. You have to stare at her to make out what anything is supposed to be. There's clearly no consistent theme in mind, other than it being mostly black ink. The random little bits of geometric to fill in gaps just looks weird, if you're gonna do geometric it really should cover a relatively large area, so you can make out what it is without staring at it.

Sorry if my post doesn't make sense, I'm drunk.

I collect old medical books, and have a "Diseases of the Colon and Anorectum" book from the 1940s, and it has an entire chapter devoted to this. It was what they had to do at the time.


I acquired the book after Dave Barry stopped writing his columns, or otherwise I would have Xeroxed that chapter and sent it to him.
