That drives me absolutely fucking nuts about nu-Fallout. It's been what, two centuries since the bombs fell, and society's rebuilt enough that there's electricity and working robots again, but nobody sweeps their porch, mops their floors or vacuums their rugs? Nobody's thought to put a fresh coat of paint on anything? There's literally no one interested in cleaning anything up at all? Just gonna leave those old (useless) papers piled up in the corner in that ratty old cardboard box?

Primitive cultures that still shit in the rivers they drink from do a better job of keeping their villages clean than the dunces in the Fallout universe do.

One of the best mods for FO4 is the one (whose name escapes me at the moment) that allows you to scrap all the random "junk" scattered around the various settlements and refunds the "build cost" they took up so you can build other, more useful stuff in its stead. That speaks to the silly default build limit as much as it does the overwhelming amount of clutter in the settlements, but it still shouldn't need to be a thing at all.

Literally called "Scrap Everything" and was one of my default mods alongside the Green Commonwealth mod.

Also everyone keeps saying that Sony is going down a woke path, but they've already jettisoned all major efforts because the censorship rules are not even being applied now. Sakura Wars is exclusive to Playstation as is Persona and nothing was touched in Final Fantasy 7. Also their japanese headquarters has been given an influx of cash to bring many things back to Japan from hardware manufacturing to software development. The censorship rules were a plot to get into China's good graces so they could continue to sell products over there and the CCP needs companies to have censorship rules. Playstation isn't moving from America atleast when it comes to hardware design, but there's a real good chance future revisions of the PS5 will be made in japan.

I don't think they're going to have naughty dog stick around at least as a major creative studio. They're going to have to clean house because this is too big to ignore. If Naughty Dog is lucky the studio will stick around as a Ravensoft-esque studio that just helps to assist on major franchises.

But I think they're going to go the way of Psygnosis, they had similar issues towards the end and they closed the studio because there were too many problems.

Thank you! I thought, that I was only one raging over this. WTF! This 100x. Not saying, that I hate the original Fallout - it was great, but the absolute degeneration of human culture, with full acceptance for wallowing in filth is unrealistic within the rules of game universe.

I don't know why you keep trying to defend the game or discredit the leaks. Does it really matter who the leaker is? We have the leaks, too many to write off as "work in progress" or "photoshop". We know that Naughty Dog has issues with crunch and not paying people. All of this is further backed up with Naughty Dog going nuclear and abusing DMCA to try and make all this disappear.

If this is some elaborate troll op or marketing campaign, then fair play, jokes on me I guess.

Kill is a strong word. This won't kill Sony any more than Nintendo was killed by Virtual Boy or WiiU. Not-winning and struggling to stay afloat might be a better way to say it.

Maybe the post apocalypse has an appeal in the same way some view the zombie apocalypse. A power fantasy where you get to live without rules or restraint imposed by living in the modern world, while also getting to prove yourself as an action hero.

Or it could be that one hasn't come along with the appeal of something like Mad Max or Fallout.

Gather up all the data you can, folks. TheQuartering just posted a new video about these strikes, and has given permission to download and repost as needed on this whole disaster of a leak. The permission is given a couple of times throughout the video. I don't know how to post the video link, but downloading the vid now myself.

I suspect that Sony doesn't have the fucking hilarious cash reserves Nintendo's built over about a century of insanity and not answering to that many actual shareholders that don't consider it an honour to own shares.

Maybe the post apocalypse has an appeal in the same way some view the zombie apocalypse. A power fantasy where you get to live without rules or restraint imposed by living in the modern world, while also getting to prove yourself as an action hero.

You can get that same feeling within a starting up system though by making the main character a power fantasy, one of the founders of a community fighting to survive it or rule justly in a world gone to shit. You can have frontier justice power plays, heck you can play the Robin Hood story over in the face of an "unfair" post-apoc society that's rebuilt.

There's a lot of leeway and potential storylines wise.

Instead we've got a lot of tropes, like Joel being the lone-wolf smuggler, or Fallouts perpetual chosen ones, with The Chosen One being directly responsible for the foundation of the NCR which would go a long way to rebuilding in the post-apoc world.

There's more to this than people realize, the source code to the game is with the leaked files and TLOU2 has coding stuff relating to the PS5 hardware with it. The PS5 is doing emulating with software and not with having the physical hardware inside of it. This is like Apple's internals getting leaked on how to get around their security in their iphone.

Bruh this is fanboyism, Sony is a huge ass fucking company. They're on par with Microsoft with just how big they are. ofcourse they have fucking cash reserves. Sony is next to Toyota in terms of huge ass Japanese companies.

You couldn't be more wrong about FF7 being untouched if you tried:



Costume changes, ending changes, story changes, character arcs, whole plot points rewritten to appease the US WokeBrigade. The original was a flawed masterpiece, the new one removes the flaws and covers them all up with a hijab and says 'Much Better for your Feelings'.

I can find other sources besides OAG, but he collated them all and it was easiest.

Oh for fucks sake don't link OAG they're dead wrong on all of it.

None of the costumes were changed, including all 6 bridal dress gowns.

Nomura wanted to alter the story due to his own free will not to appease anyone. They already put out a statement that there will be more future story deviations and a roadmap.
