1. This one I really have to take it with a grain of salt, because there's absolutely no way Alex would be this stupid to do that (besides it's Mulberry who posted it):

(Tl;dr Once Alex managed to implement two rivals in the game, he will start charging people to get the build for around $5. The price of the final game will depend on the crowdfunding campaign. If unsuccessful, a lot of the features will be missing and the price will be $5-$10 and will be released few months after the crowdfunding. If reaches bare minimum, final game will have everything he promised, and costs $10-$15, will be released a year after Kickstarter ends. If Kickstarter managed to raise a lot of money, the development period would be longer and the game would be better. Game would cost around $15-$20)

2. Alex doubles down about Corona-chan:

3.

Some girl recorded a (live) conversation between her and Alex. He acted like a victim pretty badly in this.

4. I'll end this post with how community reacts to Alex now:

Even the WatchRedditDie subreddit (which used to have front page filled with people sperging about how their posts got removed from r/UnpopularOpinions for... posting popular opinions and then screams about censorship, subreddit now in hot water) took notice of Alex:

His subreddit: (Frankly I expect the thread to be a troll one given his.. history)

Sorry for the daft question, I'm sure it's already been covered, but what exactly is the point of the crowdfunding? Is it to release it as proof of concept? Then what?

Raising money to hire a team who won't be able to work with his code? (Again.) Meaning they'd have to start from the beginning? Or is he planning on cashing in on the money and continuing to work on it solely by himself? Then what?

Either way, we end up where we are now, just with him having a bigger bank balance.

According to Alex, he thinks he can release Osana in May / June; however, he apparently needs to update the game's appearance to make it seem like he's actually working. Gotta add in that "update the appearance" clause so he has an excuse when she doesn't come out

Wait. I thought that Osana was ready on Valentine's day? Why would there be a missing voice line if he had everything to release her? I get realizing you don't have something you need, but this far after youve claimed she's ready? Wow.

How has his fans not noticed that?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RuduZkrlLgE&t=2s - this kid HarleyTBS just posted a video on Yandere Simulator and wow, it's actually decent. He's got good points - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W3RIVboKgpc&list=PL1l99NjOJxVN75kD-Am-f93xR7e-HKCIN - here is a playlist of his Yandere Simulator videos, he's even done interviews with Paste and I am pretty sure he will be making a video on this Kiwifarms.
Dude. Get good at marketing, speaking and production (i.e. script your shit) before shilling your shit. You'll come off as desperate otherwise.

It's because the fans are only paying attention to the game builds and world, not what Alex says about the development.
The game is 6 years old and yet: it is still in pre-alpha; the models aren't done; the gameplay is barely developed; there are no main objectives that would reflect the game as a whole. I bet even the story is barely past the first week. The game is barely at a level where you would pitch it to management.
If the fans haven't noticed that, they won't care about delays and inconsistances with Alex's story. Even if they did point it out, Alex has strawmanned critcism so much that other fans would dogpile them.

Iirc alex said it was for hiring a team to finish the rest of the game. But we all know what alex mahan teamwork capabilities. He is going to screech and lash out at em if they change even a tad bit about his code

He is planning to compete with the Coolest Cooler for the title of "Biggest Scam in Kickstarter History"

That is a good point, though.

The current product is notorious among those with a shred of common sense for its developer's bad coding practices.
Alex wants to release a demo with the first rival, and then launch a Kickstarter (reminder that he's behind schedule by about 2 or 3 years) to hire a team to finish the rest of the game. The current product however has bad foundations in the code which is hard to read and causes bugs and glitches which Alex feels he has to keep fixing, and where there's just big chunks of code everywhere and all the students pull from a single 17,000 line script file, it would be hard for a competant team to build upon that shitty code because he doesn't leave comments anywhere; the team would be better off just breaking everything down and starting again.

So then, what is the actual point of the demo? Demos are supposed to be a taste of what the final game's going to be like, and a little unpolish is forgivable. But first impressions matter, and in its current state it's going to be a sub-par project. YanSim been in development hell for the past 6 years because Alex keeps getting sidetracked with unnecessary shit, constantly misses deadlines, maintains a youtube channel and heavy social media and Discord presence when he really shouldn't be, and has stubbornly refused any and all critique including good coding practices which has resulted in a lot of bad game design choices. But he wants to push out a shitty demo for a game that barely functions, then launch a Kickstarter to hire a competant team to fix everything that's wrong afterwards?

Absolutely amazing yet completely unsurprising that the only way yandev can manage to ban phrases is through an ever growing and manually updated list.
I mean, he didn't even write this bot. It's almost better that it uses an array.

I think we know what it'd look like if (Alex had written it)...
else...
if...
else...

Aren't you supposed to release Osana by Valentine's but because of (insert some reason here I don't know) you delayed it? Is that part of your plan as well?

An accurate "Osana To-Do Checklist" would be: actually start working on completing her. Though for him it's "add some already dated Easter Egg for the kung flu" and "jerk off to anime girl underwear".

I've been surfing through Alex's reddit account u/WhatHappenedToEvaXep. Most of it is fanart of video game characters in inappropriate outfits and self-promotion links but I've discovered some truly horrifying content.

And here's the link to the thread as well as an archived version.
... Is this how the rage comics usually were or is this one the more deviant ones?

Found this gem in his Reddit profile. The birthday seems a little off (all the information I could find with 30 seconds of Google says he was born in June and not September), but the length of the name censored seems to match "Alexander Stuart Mahan". I always imagined this dude to be a "Forever Alone" type, but he may have actually had his own Yandere who wanted to get in his pants. Do you guys think he pussied out, got laid, or faked the whole thing?
Edit: Decided to use the Wayback Machine to look at user EvaXephon and holy shit, what a Plebbitor
