Just listened to last night's show. Random thoughts:

-Dick was right when he said that Jesse shit the bed with this. He did not know how to talk about it, came off like an idiot, and played fuck fuck games with it like involving Jim.

- Jesse missed some very obvious replies to questions: "Why do you care?" Because it's hot goss and both the Killstream and TDS are drama shows. Obviously you [Dick] also care quite a lot about it if you'll drop everything on a Friday night to go on the killstream to refute it. "Why are you obsessed with Dick?" ....Because he was behind my removal from Patreon, etc etc.

- Ethan accused Jesse of sucking Jim's dick. Ethan Ralph who devoted many drunken soliloquies to Jim and tags senpai on twitter often to get noticed.

- Jim saying Jesse came off as an attention whore like it was a bad thing was also rich with Ethan and Dick on the stream.

- These leaks prove Dick is a shitbag. Yea, it's funny to joke about cheating on your gf or fucking married women but IRL that's fucked up. I developed a reliable litmus test for other men in my time in the Military; if a guy did stuff like that, or was an absolute dog for women in the workplace I'd steer clear of them. They almost always proved to be untrustworthy and up to other naughty shit that hurt their careers and those of others around them. If they're willing to lie and bend the rules in their dealings with women you can be sure they will do it with other things. If they'll fuck their buddy's wife they'll be a buddyfucker at work as well.

- These leaks don't hurt Dick because he's never been shy about being a shitbag. He owns up to everything and is remarkably humble when he makes mistakes like with his mugs or the Straya trip...that buys him a lot of room to maneuver with stuff like this. I still like Dick and find him funny, I just wouldn't trust him with anything IRL.

- The shielding of Dick and dog-piling of Jesse was as cringy to listen to as Jesse himself. Dick is a big boy and can defend himself. Jim, Ethan, and even Jersh are friends with Dick which explains this but as others have said there's also money on the line as all three have newproject2 accounts which kinda makes this gay.

- I prefer Dick when he entertains or indulges in others' spergery. He recently went off on Chris the Kiwi and it wasn't humorous, just awkward, and it's the same with this. Just let them talk and prove themselves to be fools, that's entertaining. Rehearsed, thought-out rages are funny, uncontrolled impromptu raging isn't funny..to me at least.

- Some of what Jesse brought up was kind of right. Dick breaking up with 80s girl to pursue Jamie is legitimate goss and worth bringing to the table as so much of TDS's episodes revolve around their love triangle with Maddox. Other stuff was dumb like accusing Dick of simping.

- Maddox is still a faggot and so is Jesse.

- Ethan's loyalty to friends is one of his few better qualities, it's admirable, but it would be better if he'd be more honest about it. He didn't oppose Jesse because the story was shit, he opposed him because he's in love with Dick.

- Gator needs to quiet down instead of trying to shoot off hot zingers. They're rarely funny. Gator by himself not trying to be cool is actually nice to listen to. I enjoyed the Thursday stream where it was just him and Bibble.

- All of this shit is super duper homosexual and I'm having a weird big think from it. This is high school kind of drama and much of Ethan's show is. I don't know how I got in to this but I feel gay and small minded for listening to it. Gonna have to reevaluate my podcast habits now.

Mostly this for me. Yeah this kind of shit is funny but it doesn't change the fact that you are real trash and nothing you have to say about other people holds any weight. I know Dick is generally liked here but in my opinion he's just an unfunny scumbag who had a few moments in the past 15 years and just rides on the fact that he knows whose dick to suck and mistakes his reputation of being a shitbag who won't shy away from doing anything fucked up as proof that he is funny.

I suppose it says more about me than them that i'm still slightly tuned into this "scene" but fuck me it feels like it's turned into a bunch of over-sensitive middle-aged men jerking each other off. Nobody is willing to offend anybody, they all gang up on people with no presence or experience dealing with people like them. I only listen in the off chance someone breaks the conditioning for a moment and spits some truth calling some of the others out but the moment that threatens to happen they quickly hop off the stream only to appear a day later with folded hands claiming it was all a bit and they're still besties.

If nothing interesting is talked about or happens this week I think i'll just tune out until there's another boulderstream.

It would be funny and somewhat interesting if Jessies trolling was similar to people like Cameron Clarke who is a long time Dick Show troll who is very critical of Dick for realistic reasons. However Jessie would dox fans, he doxxed Dick and his entire family on a stream and he called Denzel, an African American recurring guest a nigga. He did all this on his show which is pretty unwatchable.

The Podawful show consists of Jessie sitting at his PC and having his braindead fans call in to talk about nothing in particular who all have shittty internet and laptop mics. Jessie is incredibly unsuccessful and it's not for trying. He has been at this for a decade and he still hasn't hit his stride. There is definitely a grain of truth to what Dick was accusing him of, he's a failure.

I have noticed that Jessie orbits people who make good content. When Nick Mullen of Cumtown was active on Twitter, Jessie featured prominently in his replies. When Porsalin, the guy who makes feature length documentaries about Opie and Anthony does a stream it's Jessie who is moderating his chat. When Revenge of the Cis do a crossover with the Killstream Jessie is known to them and they kind of think he's a weirdo. EZ PZ did a video on Maddox and Jessie is in his comments bragging about how he knows Maddox.

This guy has a work ethic that would greatly benefit someone with actual talent. But, Jessie is missing the basic fundamentals of being a comedian or even having a show format. It's just quantity over quality. He successfully got Jim to want to talk to him, he's known to many popular content creators but he STILL has nothing to show for it.

I think part of the reason why Dick accused him of being a trust fund baby is because Jessie has been doing this for so long and is so painfully unsuccessful that it seems like the only logical explanation. His parents have to be funding him at this point because he's been putting everything into his failed show, literally pissing away the best decade of his life with nothing to show for it.

I'd say that the guy deserves a thread on here but he's honestly not relevant nor interesting enough. I probably wouldn't even read it unless people were fucking with him continuously - even then, what could you take away from him? He's got nothing is is noone.

I don't find Dick funny on his own show for the most part. His gimmick is to be loudly angry about whatever people in that part of the internet are annoyed at that week. Why he consistently highlights his ability to be funny on other people's platforms (going all the way back to Dr. Phil) is mind boggling to me

Then again, I don't think Bill Hicks ever had a punchline he didn't remove from his act and replace with indignation, so what do I know

I like this summary. I generally stay out of it because none of this is even interesting but I'll tune into these things when something sounds funny. I think people get mad at Dick and start getting mad when they forget what he is. In our personal kingdom's he's a jester. He's not an adviser to the king, not a knight to fight for truth and righteousness. His job is to wear gay tights, mock retards, and make background noise. I fully expect him to be governed by a series of feelings, pseudo-standards, and whatever drugs are in his system from moment to moment. It's hard to be consistent across the board, and even tougher when it's your money and brand on the line in each and every moment. I expect a lot of fuckups, as you should if you're familiar with media and live shows by now. People stay dumb, dumb, things in the moment that they often regret and beg for editing.

I listen to dick once in a while, but like all this damn media it's there to turn on in the background of my work day because I unfortunately don't care about gardening, or aquaculture, or boating, or whatever else they play on AM radio. I do like easily accessible, mocking spergery even if I have to shake my head and chuckle at the retardation. At least dick seems to give me somewhat consistent laughs. His tweets like that one above are funny. That's his job. I don't care about much else aside from laughing at it. The fact he lives in L.A. says enough. I work over there sometimes and I can't be fucked to pay for a hotel room in the city, much less property tax.

Anyone who runs a media channel, or willingly puts themselves in from of a camera, is and forever will be some percentage of lolcow. No exceptions. Even someone doing super artsy, rare things for work has to have some voice in their head wanting outside validation and acceptance from internet strangers to start a stream.

Don't feel bad for knowing what all this stuff is. I know people get all bent out of shape about e-drama, but at the end of the day it's just something to help you fill the void and it somehow out competes a lot of other media out there in that they're at least not chastising us for wanting to trannify children and refer to all penises as clitorii.

(Also, ralph is deathfat. I would find it hard to be around that without giving a stern lecture. It's like when a friend is just destroying themselves with alcohol or heroin. If you like them at all you feel some responsibility for keeping them from killing themselves. I don't know how you play nice with that, but that's L.A. life for ya.)

Also, I don't really touch this stuff like ever and I"m not on reddit, but how on earth is it a 'get' to be the guy dating maddox's ex? Like, I would judge someone for dating him and that stink is forever on there. I know he kinda keeps her out of the spotlight, which is admirable, but damn. "Haha she's with me, when she's older and has even less options in partners, but she used to be with you so take that, chump!" is a weird grind you see a lot in guys. Then again, Dick is gen X and they seem preprogrammed to stumble through life going from one divorce to another.

He is more successful than 93% of other LA 'comedy' folk, which I can pretty much ascribe to charm and talent. That's good, there's plenty of fucks out there that can't make me laugh at all making even more money.

Thank you for articulating what I tried to. Personality traits do not exist in vacuums or particular circumstances all that often. If someone uses people close to them or has no real regard for their feelings (whatever the rationale) than they won't give a fuck about you. There's a reason villains are often classically depicted as being cruel to women and children. And yes women are rarely innocent victims but still we as a species have a soft spot for women so imagine what they might do to other men.
But as you say, Dick is a known quantity so this changes nothing. It was a bigger deal to me because I don't know him well but always got this vibe from him just by having seen this exact scenario play out. Going to a very vibrant highschool you saw this shit all the damn time.
